The episode starts with the judges asking Mangal to reveal the name of her product. Mangal remains silent, and everyone starts mocking her. The anchor asks Mangal who inspired her to create the dish, but the teasing continues. Ishana comments that she’s relieved Akshat isn’t watching TV, as he would feel bad seeing his mother fail. Sudhesh tries to calm her down.
Mangal recalls Adit and Sowmya mocking her, but then she remembers Kusum and her children encouraging her. Gathering courage, she finally says the product name: “Pehla Swaad.”
The judges, assuming she made up the name on the spot, say they might have to eliminate her. Mangal quickly explains, “Pehla Swaad” (First Taste) represents the feeling of tasting food made by our mother’s hands — a taste we never forget but can’t always find everywhere.
Mangal shares her inspiration: her children. She tells them that when her daughter was leaving for a school trip, she worried about her meals. This led her to create “Sukha Khana” (dry food that lasts longer), which eventually inspired her to start the business. “This isn’t just a business — it’s a mother’s love,” Mangal says emotionally.
She adds that her food will help people, whether living abroad or soldiers stationed far from home, to feel connected to their mother’s love through taste. “Pehla Swaad Saath Samundar Paar” (First Taste Across Seven Seas),” she concludes.
Everyone gets emotional. Mangal brings Kusum to the front, who proudly removes her veil. Mangal’s jingle appears on the screen, and the audience applauds. Niketan and his mother grow anxious, while Sudesh praises Mangal and Ishana beams with happiness. Adit enters the hall and sees everyone praising Mangal
After the round, the organizer tells Mangal that she will definitely advance to the next stage. He informs her that she needs to bring a family member for the next round. Mangal suggests Kusum, but the organizer points out that Kusum is also a contestant.
He insists that Mangal bring her husband. Kusum explains that he can’t come due to his busy schedule, but the organizer remains firm. He even suggests Kusum call her son to convince Mangal’s husband to attend.
Meanwhile, a worker burns dry leaves nearby. Jia tries to cheer up Karthik, but he remains upset. Jia steps aside as Karthik senses something is wrong. He remembers Lakshmi’s excitement about seeing the stars and wonders if she’s waiting for him to watch the constellation together.
Feeling uneasy, he goes outside and calls Lakshmi, but her phone is unreachable. Then, he spots her bracelet on the ground. Horrified, he sees Lakshmi unconscious beneath the burning leaves. Karthik rushes to her, removes the burning leaves, and saves her.
Furious, Karthik scolds the worker for not checking the area properly. Meanwhile, Jia prepares a cake for Karthik, but Gayatri questions why she’s doing it.
Karthik brings the unconscious Lakshmi inside, shocking everyone. They ask how his hand got burned and what happened to Lakshmi. Karthik sprinkles water on Lakshmi’s face, and she slowly regains consciousness.
Karthik, with concern, asks Lakshmi: “Who tried to burn you alive?” Jia watches fearfully, realizing Karthik will throw her out of Lakshmi takes her name.
