The episode starts with Zoravar refusing to let Meghla to Anurag’s house. The latter says she isn’t allowed to do household chores and then what she should do. Meher starts advising Meghla. Meghla gets upset. Simran tries to convince Meher to allow Meghla to go to Anurag’s house. Zoravar says he won’t allow Meghla to either go to Anurag’s house or allow her to practice singing. Meghla pleads with Zoravar to understand her. Zoravar shouts at her. Balveer warns Zoravar. He asks Zoravar to let Meghla go to Anurag’s house once in a while. Meghla tells Balveer about Anurag’s strict rules and says she has to go to classes every day. Kamla questions Meghla. Meghla tries to explain herself the reason behind attending classes in Anurag’s house. Arjun takes Meghla’s side. He further advises Meghla. He tries to convince Zoravar to allow Meghla to attend the classes, but the latter firmly refuses it.
Meher calms Zoravar down by taunting Meghla. Meghla tries to defend herself, which leads Zoravar to argue with her. He questions Meghla what she will do if he won’t allow her to practice singing. Meghla says that she will have no other option than going against his wish. Everyone gets shocked and surprised while Zoravar gets furious. Balveer asks Meghla to wait until Ranbir returns home, but Meghla decides to go to Guru Ji’s house right away. Both Meher and Zoravar badly criticise Meghla.
Zoravar says that he wished Adrija had become their daughter-in-law in place of Meghla. Meghla says neither Adrija nor her not able to take the other person’s place because they both are totally different from each other. She further explains to the entire family about the restrictions they forced on her also about the freedom Adrija gets in this house. She also says that she can’t able to sit idle without doing anything, so it’s better if she goes to Guru Ji’s house for her practices. Arjun says to Meghla that she will fully support her. But he asks her to wait until Ranbir returns. Meghla says that she knows the entire family is misunderstanding her, so she is going to her Guru Ji’s house. She also says Ranbir won’t tell her anything because she already talked to him. Zoravar asks her what Ranbir said, to which Meghla asks him to ask Ranbir. The former gets extremely upset and angry.
Param decides to drop Meghla to Guru Ji’s house. He requests Meher to support Meghla. Meghla also requests Meher to understand her as she is also an artist. Meher expresses her disappointment towards Meghla, saying the latter doesn’t respect their emotions. She also asks if Meghla isn’t going to wait until Adrija returns home. Meghla promises to return home before Adrija arrives, and then she leaves from there.
Later, Ranbir brings Adrija home. Both Chandan and Mahua also arrive there. Chandan asks Adrija’s decision to stay at Ranbir’s house, but Mahua takes Adrija’s side. She also doubts about Adrija’s full recovery, but Ranbir asks her not to lose hope. Meanwhile, Meghla meets Guru Ji and Diljot. They both get shocked learning about Bajwa’s decision to stop Meghla from learning music. Guru Ji supports Meghla’s decision. Meghla expresses her desire to become a professional singer and earn money with Guru Ji. She seeks his blessings and guidance, but Guru Ji says this isn’t Meghla used to, so he firmly refuses to support her decision. Meghla gets upset.
