The episode starts with the contestants praising Mangal for standing up for herself. Niketan’s mother mocks Mangal, calling her actions overdramatic. Mangal rebukes her and leaves. The contestants express their fear to Jigar, saying they feel unsafe and refuse to participate in the show. The organizers discuss how Mangal has become a hero, putting their show in jeopardy.
At home, Kusum tells the family that Mangal did the right thing by leaving the show but worries about household expenses. Mangal returns home, and Soumya mocks her. Adit apologizes to Mangal for his mistake. Soumya questions him, but Adit explains, “I know family is important to Mangal, and I made a mistake by fighting with her without thinking. The show exploited our conflict for TRP.” Adit apologizes again. Mangal quietly goes to her room, where Kusum follows to comfort her. Mangal breaks down, feeling defeated, but Kusum consoles her. Mangal wipes her tears and heads to the kitchen to cook.
While cooking, Mangal hears the doorbell and opens the door to find the judge and organizer standing there. The judge requests her to return to the show, praising her talent. Mangal firmly responds, “My family’s reputation was tarnished. Your apology and bouquet can’t fix that, so I can’t return.” Sanjana arrives and demands Mangal’s return, offering a hefty sum as compensation, saying, “Even if you lose, your next generation will be financially secure. It’s a win-win situation.” Soumya tells Adit that Mangal will accept the offer because she is greedy. Mangal touches the money, then shuts the suitcase, telling Sanjana, “My self-respect is not for sale.” When Sanjana asks if she wants more money, Mangal replies, “Take your money and leave. I won’t participate in a show that disrespects housewives.” The organizer informs Mangal that Jigar has been removed, hoping she’ll reconsider, but Mangal remains resolute, shocking Sanjana.
Adit tells Soumya that Mangal’s refusal shows her self-respect and growth. “The old Mangal wouldn’t have had the confidence to stand up to powerful people,” he adds. Soumya, however, believes Mangal made a mistake by rejecting the offer.
Meanwhile, Jia creates a scene to stop Karthik from reading a newspaper article about their case. Karthik, worried for Jia, cancels his recording. Jia clings to him, pleading not to be left alone. Lakshmi convinces Karthik to leave for his recording, promising to take care of Jia. After he leaves, Lakshmi confronts Jia, warning her that she’ll be out of the house once Karthik regains his memory. Jia secretly calls her mother for help.
Prema meets Karthik and questions whether he cares for Jia or not as he fails to see Jia’s insecurity. She pressures him, saying, “If you care for Jia, you should marry her.” Jia, thinking her plan is working, tries to apply Lakshmi’s sindoor to her forehead, but Lakshmi stops her. Jia accuses Lakshmi of snatching her suhaag and tries to wipe her sindoor, leading to Lakshmi slapping her. Gayatri arrives, and Lakshmi reveals Jia’s attempts to erase Karthik’s memories. Jia denies the accusations, and they argue until Gayatri tells them to stop. Jia threatens to leave the house, and despite Karthik’s pleas, she walks out.
Karthik recalls Prema’s words and gathers the family to announce his decision to marry Jia. Gayatri and Sudesh question the sudden decision, but Karthik insists, “We’ve been dating for years, so it’s time to make it official.” Lakshmi feels dizzy upon hearing this. Umesh and the rest of the family oppose the marriage, saying Jia isn’t right for him. Karthik remains firm and asks Lakshmi to support his decision. Lakshmi stays silent. Karthik assumes her silence means she can’t speak against his parents, then asks them to accept his choice for his happiness before leaving. Lakshmi collapses in tears.
