The episode starts with Sowmya encouraging Mangal to overcome the challenge, but Mangal becomes tense. Kusum tries to approach Mangal, but a team member stops her. Shanti tells Adit that Sowmya is troubling Mangal, but Adit stands by Sowmya. Shanti then decides to perform tapasya in front of God, praying for Mangal’s victory.
Adit says he doesn’t understand Sowmya’s plan, but Sudesh suspects that Sowmya wants to ruin Mangal’s chances of winning the round. Sowmya tells Mangal that she can quit the show if she can’t find another way to complete her task. Mangal, however, comes up with an idea and requests permission to dry the clothes on the terrace under the sun. Sowmya refuses, but Sid intervenes and allows Mangal to dry her items on the terrace, sending a cameraman along with her.
Mangal spreads her items in the sunlight. She is about to drink water but stops, remembering that she is fasting. Kusum worries about Mangal. Meanwhile, Mangal notices that there isn’t enough sunlight to dry her items properly. Sowmya tells the judges that it would be better for Mangal to quit. The anchor says only Mangal can decide that and approaches her, telling the audience that Mangal’s dream of becoming an entrepreneur might remain unfulfilled if she fails the challenge.
On the other hand, Karthik tells his family that he is determined to marry Jia and goes inside with her. Lakshmi cries, unsure of her next step. She believes this is a test of love and decides to stay close to Karthik to foil Jia’s plans. Sanjana, Umesh, and Gayatri come outside and notice Lakshmi is missing. Sanjana tells Gayatri that she made a mistake by hiding the truth from Karthik and asks if she will really let him marry Jia. Gayatri firmly says she won’t let that happen, while Sanjana and Umesh grow increasingly worried about Lakshmi.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi gathers all the evidence against Jia for Karthik. She believes that by the next day, Karthik will understand the truth after seeing the newspaper clippings and court orders. Karthik and Lakshmi silently miss each other. Karthik starts playing his guitar, and Lakshmi appears in front of him, saying their bond is strong enough to withstand the battle. Karthik, hurt, tells her she betrayed him and doesn’t understand the meaning of friendship.
Just then, Jia arrives, and Lakshmi disappears. Jia tells Karthik that the pandit will come the next day to fix their wedding date.
