The episode starts with Adit saving Mangal just in time. Mangal looks at Adit and asks if he was the one who saved her. Sowmya interjects, saying that Mangal had sent a message to Adit, which she overheard and immediately informed him. A flashback shows Adit overhearing Mangal’s voice, asking Sowmya about it, and then taking the phone. Adit tells Mangal that Sowmya saw the message on time, so they rushed to help her. Mangal thanks her, but Sowmya, in her mind, thinks, I wanted you to die, but you got lucky. Adit also scolds Guards but they say it’s Mangal’s mistake to enter crime scene.
Mangal then recalls the evidence she had gathered to prove her innocence. She looks around and finds it broken in the water tank, leaving her in tears. As Adit and Sowmya prepare to take Mangal away, the media arrives and surrounds her. Sowmya smirks, thinking she did the right thing by calling the media. The reporters question Mangal, accusing her of coming to the crime scene to destroy the evidence against her. Mangal insists that she was there to find proof of her innocence, but the media refuses to believe her and accuses her of lying. Adit takes Mangal home.
At home, Sudesh expresses relief that Mangal is safe, but Sowmya remarks that because of her, the family’s reputation is now at stake. Kusum scolds Mangal for going to the crime scene, and Adit also reprimands her. No one listens to Mangal and instead tells her to stop bringing shame to the family. Mangal, determined, says she only wants to clear her and the family’s name, but Kusum declares that she is no longer the daughter she once knew, as her real daughter would never go against her wishes. Heartbroken, Mangal promises not to leave the house again. She assures them that they mean everything to her and hugs Kusum.
The next day, as Mangal prepares to leave for the temple, she notices people giving her strange looks. She then sees Sudesh eating sweets and advises him that it’s not good for his health. In response, Sudesh uses an example to explain that just as medicine is necessary despite its bitterness, she must fight to prove her innocence. He encourages her to stop accepting defeat.
Just then, a speeding car approaches, and Mangal quickly pulls Sudesh aside, saving him. Niketan steps out of the car and mocks Mangal. She confronts him, saying she knows he is the one who conspired against her. Niketan openly admits it, smirking as he tells her that she has no evidence to prove it. He then taunts her, saying that housewives can never become sultans and that she should accept her place in the kitchen. He leaves. Sudesh looks at Mangal and asks her to decide—will she surrender to her circumstances or fight back and teach Niketan a lesson?
Meanwhile, Gayatri tells Karthik how Jia tortured her by forcing her to walk endlessly on the treadmill. However, Karthik refuses to believe her, reminding her that Jia cares for her and had already informed him about the situation. Just then, Jia arrives, pretending to be hurt by Gayatri’s accusations. Karthik defends Jia, saying that exercising is good for Gayatri’s health, and that’s why she made her walk on the treadmill. Changing the subject, he asks Gayatri why she is supporting Lakshmi and allowing her to enter their house. Gayatri insists that Jia is lying, but Karthik refuses to listen and leaves.
Lakshmi calls Umesh and confesses that she cannot live without Karthik. Umesh advises her to talk to Karthik and stop the wedding, as Karthik has refused to listen to him. He promises to help her and asks her not to worry. Lakshmi thanks him.
Meanwhile, Jia tries to take the family’s heirloom jewelry from Gayatri. Lakshmi witnesses the act. Jia then orders Radha to place the jewelry in her room. Radha takes the jewelry and leaves. Jia also takes the locker keys and walks away.
Later, Umesh gifts Karthik a watch with a hidden letter inside. Jia urges Karthik to open the gift. Karthik unwraps the watch and thanks Umesh for the present. Umesh blesses him and leaves, thinking that Karthik will find the letter when he tries on the watch. However, when Karthik puts on the watch, he doesn’t notice the letter. Meanwhile, Jia tells him that she will send his sherwani to him and leaves. Unnoticed by anyone, the letter falls to the floor.
Lakshmi, preparing mehendi, cries as she thinks about Karthik. Karthik enters the kitchen, feeling restless and unsure why. He calls out to Radha, who quickly stands up. As he moves, he almost slips, but Lakshmi catches him, and in the process, mehendi smears onto both their hands. Karthik apologizes for getting mehendi on her hand. Lakshmi smiles and tells him it’s fine, then asks him to clean his hand. He apologizes again for doubling her work.
Just then, Jia calls Karthik, and he leaves. Watching him go, Lakshmi thinks to herself that Mata Rani has sent a sign that Karthik belongs to her, and she will fight for him.
