The episode starts with Tejaswini arriving at the mandap as the bride. Amruta asks the Chavan family why the bride is wearing a veil, as they don’t follow such a tradition. Sonali lies, saying that they do have this tradition, and quickly makes up a reason.
Teju prays to God, hoping that Juhi will arrive before the wedding rituals are completed. Aditi and Prajakta also wonder when Juhi will come.
Satish arrives at the train station looking for Juhi, but the ticket collector tells him that the train left a long time ago. Satish thinks he sees Juhi and rushes to her, but realizes it’s someone else. Omi calls and asks if Satish found Juhi. Satish replies that they were too late and it seems Juhi has already left. Satish collapses on the spot.
The priest announces that the marriage rituals are about to be completed. Hearing this, Teju thinks she can’t continue with this drama any longer. She removes her veil and asks everyone to stop the wedding.
The Pradhan family questions the Chavan family, asking what’s going on and where Juhi is. The Chavan family stays silent. Teju steps forward to tell the truth—Juhi ran away from the wedding. She explains that they hoped to find Juhi and swap her in place of Teju, but they couldn’t locate her in time.
Amruta, after hearing this, confirms that what Prachi heard was indeed true. Vinod and Bhushan accuse Omi of deceiving them. Omi insists that deceiving them was never their intention. Bhushan angrily says they came to take their daughter-in-law home, but now they can’t. Omi says they can still take their daughter-in-law—Teju. Bhushan responds that this isn’t a market where they can pick another bride if one doesn’t show up. He declares that the marriage will not happen.
Omi pleads with Bhushan not to back out, saying their reputation will be ruined. The Chavan family also begs the Pradhan family to go ahead with the wedding. Lakshmi joins in, urging them to marry Teju, saying she’s the best among all the girls in the Chavan family. Amruta makes a sarcastic comment. Jeetu tells Omi and Vinod to agree to the wedding, or else their reputation will be destroyed along with the broken alliance. Vinod angrily asks Jeetu if he’s lost his mind and questions how their reputation could be at stake.
Manjari urges Neil to say something, as it’s about his marriage. Jeetu also asks Neil to speak. Neil finally says he is ready to marry Teju. But Teju declares that she won’t marry him and walks away. Bhushan says they don’t want her either and tells Neil to leave with them. Neil refuses, saying no one is going anywhere and that the wedding will take place.
