The episode begins with Adit having a nightmare in which Mangal tortures him at work to take revenge. He wakes up startled and realizes it was just a dream. He wonders why it affected him so much.
The next morning, Adit struggles to tie his tie and throws it in frustration. Suddenly, Mangal appears in front of him and asks if he’s afraid to face her. Another version of Mangal appears and tells him there’s no need to be scared, encouraging him to use the second chance he’s been given and present his idea. One version of Mangal tries to scare him, while the other urges him to focus on his work. The first version warns him that she will take revenge, while the other reassures him, saying, “I know you’re capable.” Conflicted, Adit smashes the mirror in anger.
He then calls Kapil Bhatnagar and tells him that he doesn’t want to work with them anymore, abruptly ending the call. Sowmya overhears the conversation and feels relieved that Adit has backed out of working with Mangal. She enters the room, and Adit informs her that he’s refused to work with the Jaipur investor. Sowmya responds positively.
Noticing her dressed up, Adit asks if she’s going somewhere. Sowmya says they’re going for drinks after a meeting. Adit offers to join, but she refuses, saying, “You won’t be able to face our colleagues’ questions, and I don’t want you to feel humiliated. Please eat on time and stay home.” Adit remains silent as she leaves.
Meanwhile, Mangal searches for medicine. Pratima tells her that she’s fine and doesn’t need it, but Mangal insists and gives her the tablet. Pratima praises Mangal, saying her family is lucky to have her. Mangal feels emotional, missing her own family.
Kapil returns home and asks for a headache tablet, joking that he needs it because Mangal gave Adit a second chance—and Adit rejected it as if it was his decision to make. Kapil advises her never to give Adit another chance.
Elsewhere, Kusum struggles to get up and asks Sowmya to bring her medicine from the cupboard. Sowmya tells her to get it herself and walks away. Kusum climbs on a stool, loses balance, and falls while trying to take the medicine. Pratima calls her at that moment. Kusum answers and admits she’s in pain. When Pratima asks about the naturopathy consultation, Kusum replies that they advised surgery. Pratima urges her to go through with it and asks if her son’s work is going well. Kusum replies that Adit is still looking for investors, and until he’s financially stable, she doesn’t want to burden him with the surgery expenses.
Adit walks in just then. Kusum ends the call. Adit asks why she didn’t call him for help or tell him about the surgery. Kusum says they’ll do it once their financial situation improves.
Back at Mangal’s place, she tells Kapil the accounts are unclear. He says they can review them together. Mangal notices Pratima looking upset and asks her what’s wrong. Pratima says her friend is in poor health and can’t afford spinal surgery. Mangal offers to prepare an herbal oil to relieve her back pain.
Later, Kapil asks Pratima about what’s bothering her. She shares Kusum’s situation. Kapil offers financial help, but Pratima says Kusum won’t accept money. Instead, she suggests helping Kusum’s son Adit by investing in his project. Kapil is surprised to learn that Adit is the same person who recently refused to work with them.
Meanwhile, Kusum tells Adit not to take any money from Sowmya for her treatment. Adit receives a call from Akshat and is left shocked after hearing the news.
