The episode starts with Adit packing his belongings. He regrets not quitting his job earlier. Mangal comes to see him. Adit says there’s no need to talk, as Kapil has already labelled him characterless. Mangal replies that she just came to speak with him. Adit asks, “What is there to say? I know you support Ananya because you support women. I’m being defamed for something I didn’t even do.” Mangal says she came to ask him to come outside with her once.
Meanwhile, Kusum asks Sowmya if Adit’s office caught fire. Sowmya thinks to herself, “Glad she doesn’t know English, or I would’ve been caught.” Sowmya lies and says everything is fine, trying to handle the situation. Kusum tells her to call Adit and check. Sowmya insists that everything is okay and asks her not to listen to her conversations again. Kusum, feeling uneasy, prays for Adit’s safety.
Everyone gathers in one place. Mangal addresses them, saying, “This is the first time such an incident has happened at the office. Before firing Adit, we need to know the truth. I want a detailed account of what happened yesterday.” Ananya asks if Mangal thinks she is lying. Mangal replies that to uncover the truth, both sides must be heard. She then instructs the security team to retrieve the CCTV footage for investigation.
Ananya comments, “It’s true—women are enemies to women.” Mangal questions what she means. Ananya accuses Mangal of always supporting Adit and covering for him instead of taking action. She claims, “I know you’ll protect Adit again. This meeting is just a waste of time.” Mangal says she has never supported anything wrong.
Ananya then reveals that when she went to get Adit’s signature yesterday, she found out that Mangal is Adit’s wife. Kapil corrects her, saying Adit is Mangal’s ex-husband. Mangal clarifies, “My relationship with Adit is that of boss and employee. Every employee is equal to me.” She asserts that she won’t take any decision until the truth is revealed.
Kapil pulls Mangal aside and warns her not to support the wrong person, especially at the cost of the company. Adit overhears the conversation. Kapil tells Mangal that he cannot stand by her in this situation. Mangal firmly says, “I stand with the truth, and I won’t make any decisions until I find it.” The HR manager informs Adit that he is suspended until the matter is resolved. As Adit leaves the office, he hears employees whispering and calling him cheap.
Adit returns home, visibly upset. Kusum asks why he looks worried and why he’s home early. Adit hides the truth from her. Kusum tells him that the hospital called, saying some money is needed for the surgery. Adit says he will arrange it.
Mangal begins her investigation and questions the security team. Meanwhile, Ananya tries to turn the employees against Mangal, claiming the company is unsafe. The employees confront Mangal and Kapil, stating they won’t work at Pehla Swaad if their safety is at risk. Kapil advises Mangal to end the investigation and stop the staff from revolting.
Mangal responds, “I will stand by the truth. Give me three days. If Adit is proven guilty, a police complaint will be filed against him too. I don’t want injustice done to anyone.” The staff agrees to give her time. Ananya accuses her of supporting her husband. Mangal replies, “He is my ex-husband. If I wanted revenge, I could take it. But I’m not that kind of person.” The staff apologizes to Mangal for doubting her and assures her of their support. Mangal feels relieved and happy. Ananya is left shocked.
