Doree 16th May 2025 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Dadi thinking that Maan, Meera, and Doree are dead. Kailashi Devi brings Meera, Maan, and Doree out of the fire on a four-wheeled cart. Rajnandini wonders why Kailashi Devi saved her enemies, as she had promised to help Rajnandini. Kailashi Devi hands them over to the Thakur family and leaves.
Maan speaks to the unconscious Meera, saying he missed her a lot. Meera wakes up and starts looking for her son, Chikoo. Maan tells her that he is Chikoo. Meera refuses to believe it and continues searching for her son. The doctor arrives, calms Meera down, and gives her an injection to make her sleep. He later informs the Thakur family that Meera lost her memory in the fire 15 years ago. He advises them not to force Meera to recall her past. Instead, he suggests surrounding her with familiar people or things to help trigger her memory. The Thakur family agrees, and the doctor leaves.
Maan sleeps beside Doree and thinks about his mother. Doree wakes up and sees Maan talking in his sleep. She wakes him up and asks about his mother. Maan replies that Meera is fine. He apologises to Doree for not believing her and promises that just as she reunited him with his mother, he will save her father, Ganga Prasad, from jail. Maan vows to get justice for Doree and her family. Doree asks if he was the one who saved her from the fire. Maan says it was a Good Samaritan and assures her she’ll find out who it was soon. Just then, they hear the sacred conch being blown and come downstairs.
Maan, Doree, and the rest of the Thakur family gather at the Pooja Mandir. Kailashi Devi performs the aarti. Doree is shocked to see her.
Maan introduces Kailashi Devi to Doree, saying he heard a lot about her from his mother and that she used to run a saree business. He assumes Doree might know her. Kailashi Devi pretends not to recognise Doree and blesses her.
Doree tells Kailashi Devi to stop pretending. She reveals to Maan that Kailashi Devi is a snake and the one who destroyed her childhood. Doree tells Maan that she is Kailashi Devi’s granddaughter. Kailashi Devi acts emotional and tries to hug Doree, but Doree asks her to stay away.
Maan questions Doree’s behaviour, but Kailashi Devi tells him not to blame Doree and says a lot has happened. She claims she had a twin sister named Rukmani who looked just like her and used her name to commit many wrongs, for which she ended up in jail. Kailashi Devi insists she wasn’t the one who ruined Doree’s childhood, and asks if she were, would she have saved Doree and Meera? Doree doesn’t believe her and tells her to leave.
Kailashi Devi tells Maan she’ll take her leave as her presence may affect his marital life. She pretends to walk away, but Meera stops her.
