The episode starts with Lakshmi seeing Jia holding a pillow and about to attack her. She gets shocked. Jia lies, saying she brought the pillow to kill a spider on Lakshmi’s face. Lakshmi asks her to go back to sleep.
The next morning, Lakshmi is cooking in the kitchen. Karthik approaches her and apologizes for sending her to take care of Jia the previous night. Just then, Jia enters and spoils their moment. She asks Lakshmi for an apple. Sanjana asks Jia why she always disturbs them, but Jia insists. Lakshmi takes Jia inside and gives her a sliced apple. She then returns to the kitchen to turn off the stove. Meanwhile, Jia deliberately cuts her hand and starts crying.
Everyone rushes to her. Karthik scolds Lakshmi for leaving a knife with Jia. Lakshmi is shocked and realizes she hadn’t left any knife with Jia. She begins to suspect that Sanjana might be right—that Jia is faking her memory loss to separate her from Karthik. Jia smirks, thinking about her plan to come between them. She vows to snatch Karthik from Lakshmi.
The next day, Jia tricks Karthik into believing that Lakshmi gave her floor cleaner instead of coconut water. Karthik gets worried and asks Lakshmi to take rest, saying he will handle Jia himself. Later, Gayatri notices Lakshmi looking disturbed and asks her about it. Lakshmi confides that she feels Jia is pretending and trying to separate her from Karthik. Gayatri agrees and says they need to expose her soon. Lakshmi replies that she will first gather proper evidence. She calls Anjali and learns that Dr. Arora is the best neurosurgeon.
Meanwhile, Jia continues trying her best to stay close to Karthik. Lakshmi watches her carefully and thinks, “Very soon, I will uncover Jia’s truth.” Karthik sees Lakshmi and reassures her that mistakes happen sometimes. He tells her to take rest and suggests they have lunch together. He asks where she’s going. Lakshmi replies, “I’m going to the temple and will be back soon.” Karthik asks her to return quickly. Jia watches them angrily.
