Expecting Karthik to come to her room, Jia is shocked when Lakshmi arrives instead. That night, Jia attempts to harm Lakshmi in her sleep, but Lakshmi wakes up just in time and catches her red-handed.The next day, Lakshmi visits a doctor and explains that Jia had an accident, and the first doctor had claimed she suffered internal injuries that caused memory loss.
Lakshmi asks if that diagnosis is true. After reviewing the reports, the doctor reveals that the previous claim was false—there is no internal injury and no memory loss. Lakshmi silently affirms what she already suspected: Jia has been faking everything all along.
