The episode begins with Mangal assuring Adit that she will take good care of the kids. Just then, Ishana arrives with Sowmya and says, “Really, Mumma?” Surprised, Mangal asks why she’s there. Ishana replies that she came because Mangal had called her. Sowmya jumps in, reminding Mangal that she once said nothing was more important than her kids—so why did she leave them? Sowmya declares that she took responsibility and cared for the children in Mangal’s absence, and it’s time for Mangal to stop blaming her. She firmly states that a new family was formed with her, and she won’t let Mangal break it. Mangal and Kusum are left shocked by her words.
Meanwhile, Pratima tends to Kapil’s wounds and questions why he risked his life. Kapil tells her that he went to help Mangal. Pratima points out that he’s afraid of blood, yet he still got hurt for her. Kapil praises Mangal’s strength and says it was his duty to support her. Pratima insists it wasn’t duty but love that drove him. Kapil, uncomfortable, asks her not to bring up the topic again and walks away.
Back at home, Mangal asks Ishana if she truly believes she abandoned her. She emotionally says she could never leave her daughter. Ishana, however, stands her ground and says Mangal did leave them—and now she wants custody. “What if we don’t want to come with you?” she asks. Ishana tells Mangal to stop crying and blaming Sowmya for everything, adding that the pain she experienced was due to Mangal’s decisions. Mangal admits her mistake, saying she regrets leaving them and that her wrong choices have deeply affected the children. She asks Ishana for forgiveness and promises to earn it. She declares that she will now stay in the house to be close to her kids. Sowmya is stunned. Mangal turns to Ishana and assures her that she will make her feel like her daughter again and won’t let anyone else come between them.
Sowmya, angry, says the house belongs to her and that she won’t allow Mangal to stay. Mangal responds firmly, saying the house belongs to Kusum and accuses Sowmya of being a home-breaker, incapable of creating a home. She pleads with Kusum for permission to stay and take care of her children. Kusum, touched, says that as a mother, she understands Mangal’s pain. She adds that Adit’s only wish is the happiness and well-being of the kids, so Mangal can stay. Mangal thanks her gratefully.
Later, Mangal lights a diya in front of Maata Rani and prays for strength to protect her children and family. Meanwhile, Sowmya accidentally drops a photo of her and Adit’s wedding, shattering the frame. She silently picks it up and walks away.
Adit follows Sowmya, trying to calm her down. She accuses Mangal of being inauspicious and says she’s back to ruin their lives. Adit urges her to stop feeling insecure, but Sowmya questions why he won’t stand up for himself. Adit explains that Ishana needs time to heal from the trauma, and Sowmya insists that she will take care of her. Adit reminds her that it was Mangal who saved Ishana and that they must face the situation responsibly. When Sowmya gets emotional, Adit warns that if they try to throw Mangal out, she might win custody of the kids. He urges Sowmya to cooperate. Reluctantly, Sowmya agrees but decides to wait for the right time to act.
