The episode starts with a girl happily entering her garden to water the plants. She smiles, looking at a butterfly. She then introduces herself as Katha Kumari Rathi. She says since childhood she is staying with her uncle. Then she introduces each plant she has with a name and says those plants are her family. She then says that she studies botany and she doesn’t like men. She further adds that she wants to help her uncle after she completes her studies. Just then, she hears her uncle playing an old song. She dances with him and her aunt. She then rushes to take the cow dung from the milk man. Her uncle questions her, to which she says it’s important to keep this while delivering the plant. Her aunt scolds her and says in college that everyone is addressing her as Gobar Devi. Her uncle says he is going to marry her off. Katha gets upset and says to him she won’t get married.
At the college, a girl asks Chef UV about the connection between food and music. He gives an explanation, and then he prepares food and presents it. Just then, Tammy arrives there and informs UV that Gobar Devi is denying their entry at freshers’ party. UV gets curious to meet Gobar Devi. Meanwhile, Katha gives strict instructions to her uncle about his diet, but her uncle and aunt try to fool her and fail. Her aunt reminds her about the college event so Katha leaves for college with a plant. Both her uncle and aunt praise Katha.
Katha gets worried that learning the train she uses to reach the college is stuck, so she decides to reach the college by travelling in the bus. She argues with the bus conductor and the passengers who ask her to leave the plant. She travels on the bus’s rooftop. She shares the same with her friend. Her friend informs her that UV and his friends are upset with her for denying their entry at freshers’ party.
Later, Katha reaches the college. UV sees her and says to his friends he feel they misunderstood her. But when Katha walks past them, he gets upset with the fragrances, so his friends tell him this is the reason they named her Gobar Devi. The fresher party begins, but Katha’s speech bore everyone, so UV arrives there singing a song while dancing. He forcibly dances with Katha and then drops her to the ground. Katha gets upset with him. She scolds UV for interrupting the freshers’ party. UV and friends get confused with the choice of words she is choosing to communicate with them. Katha friends take her from there. A man arrives and forcibly takes UV with him.
At Jindal house, Puja preparation begins. Pari makes a vlog and introduces her family members. Eshwar Chandra Jindal asks Rukhmani about UV’s whereabouts. He also says to his family that he has given a responsibility to him. Their worker brings UV home. UV says to his family that he didn’t bring the plant. Also, he isn’t interested or believes in this Puja. Eshwar gets upset, so he scolds UV. Harshvardan also scolds UV. UV gets upset. He says that he has work to do in his cafe and decides to leave. Eshwar tells the family members that UV is spoiling his brothers and sisters, too. He also worries without the plant how to start the puja.
Meanwhile, Mohan brings Katha to Jindal house. Both Katha and UV bump into each other. UV gets upset with Katha when the cow dung spills on him. The Jindal family gets happy seeing the plant they want is with Katha. Mohan introduces Katha to Eshwar. Katha takes Eshwar and Rukhmani’s blessing. With their permission, she put the plant on the puja area. Eshwar gets impressed with Katha. He compares her with UV. He then wonders whether it’s a God’s sign for Katha-UV’s union and smiles.
Precap: Katha complains to Eshwar about UV. Later, UV vows to trap Katha in his love and then break her heart. Katha vent out her frustration about UV. She then sees UV’s gesture for a patient in the hospital and gets touched by it.
