The episode begins with Raghu telling Lakshmi that she can go to Karthik once she has fully recovered. However, Lakshmi insists on going immediately. Veda arrives and gives prasad to Lakshmi. Raghu reminds her that she can leave only after the doctor confirms she’s fine. Veda gently asks Lakshmi to walk slowly and takes her to the pooja mandir. She seats Lakshmi on a chair and performs the pooja, handing her the aarti plate. Lakshmi performs the aarti to Maata Rani with devotion.
Lakshmi worries about Karthik and decides to inform him as soon as possible that she is alive. As she leaves, she finds herself thinking deeply about Karthik, feeling as though he’s drifting away from her. She wonders aloud, “Where are you, Karthik Ji?” Suddenly, she imagines Karthik appearing before her and kissing her. Lakshmi says, “I knew you’d come searching for me. I thought I lost you once, but now I’m happy you’re here.” She hugs him, but the moment is broken when Veda arrives and asks why Lakshmi left the pooja. Lakshmi realizes she was imagining the entire scene.
Elsewhere, Jia scolds Karthik for attending the engagement in nightwear and causing a scene with the ring. Karthik warns her to stay away from him. Jia boldly declares that she will marry him no matter what and that soon he will realize she loves him more than anyone. Karthik bluntly tells her that he hates her. He then drinks the water Jia secretly spiked. As he begins to feel dizzy, Jia smugly remarks that she knows how to control him, and once they’re married, he’ll have no choice but to accept her. She tells him to sleep peacefully.
Gayatri enters and questions Jia about how Karthik seems so calm around her despite being angry at everyone—especially her. Jia lies, saying it’s her love that calms him, hiding the fact that she’s been drugging him. Gayatri leaves, worried about Karthik. Jia thinks to herself that Karthik belongs only to her.
Determined to meet Karthik and save him from Jia, Lakshmi decides to escape from Raghu’s house. Noticing that Raghuveer and Veda are asleep, she sneaks out through the window.
Meanwhile, Karthik looks at Lakshmi’s heart-shaped locket and misses her dearly. Lakshmi arrives nearby, but before Karthik can see her, she vanishes again—just another illusion. She hires an auto and heads to Karthik’s house. Karthik senses Lakshmi’s presence and believes they will reunite soon.
As Lakshmi steps down near Karthik’s house, he looks out the window and spots her approaching the main gate. He rushes downstairs to meet her. Just as Lakshmi is about to ring the doorbell, Raghuveer appears from behind, uses chloroform on her, and renders her unconscious. Karthik opens the door, only to find no one there. He calls out for Lakshmi, but Raghuveer hides her from view. Just then, Jia calls for Karthik, distracting him.
Episode ends.
Precap: Lakshmi thinks that even if she couldn’t reach Karthik, he might still come to find her. She calls him. Karthik answers the phone, and Lakshmi softly says, “It’s me.”
