The episode begins with Savi privately informing the teacher that Rajat, Sai’s father, has passed away. She adds that Neil only participated in the event for Sai, and she feels they don’t deserve the award. The teacher says she already knew and admits she hasn’t seen Sai smile so brightly since Rajat’s demise.
Later, Sai thanks Neil for his support. Savi notices their conversation. The teacher then asks Savi to accept the award. Savi and Neil take the award along with Sai. Sai requests the photographer to click a picture on her mobile too and hands Neil her phone. The three pose for a group photo. Sai happily shows the trophy to Nishi and teases her.
Nishi’s parents congratulate Neil, mistaking him for Sai’s father. Neil tries to clarify, but they leave after receiving a call. Seeing Sai with Savi, Neil thinks to himself that he never imagined Sai was Savi’s daughter. Observing this, Savi silently decides to keep Neil away from Sai.
Later, Sai thanks Neil again and says she won the trophy because of him. Neil tells her to call him whenever she needs help. She agrees and suggests celebrating with ice cream. Savi interrupts, saying her throat isn’t well. Neil jokes that she needn’t eat, but they can still enjoy ice cream with Vedaan. Savi tells Sai they need to head home because Dadi isn’t well and sends her to collect her bags.
Once alone, Savi firmly tells Neil to stay away from her daughter. Neil protests, saying he and Sai share a genuine bond and it’s unfair to separate them. Savi accuses him of using Sai to keep tabs on her. Neil tries to deny it, but Savi sternly warns him that this will be the last time he meets Sai. Just then, Sai returns and hugs Neil. Savi forcefully breaks the hug and takes Sai with her. Sai gives a flying kiss to Neil. Later, Savi blocks Neil’s number on Sai’s phone and leaves with her. Neil silently vows not to let Savi come between him and Sai.
While returning, the cab driver tells Savi they will take a different route. Sai recognizes the voice—it’s Maruti. Savi quickly makes Sai wear earphones and asks her to look outside for the ice cream parlor. She then strangles Maruti and furiously questions how he dared to come to her daughter’s school. He pleads and promises not to come again. Before she leaves, he warns Savi to pay the next installment within four days if she wants Ridhi to be safe.
Savi and Sai get out of the car and take an auto. Sai notices Savi’s sadness and asks about it. Savi brushes it off, saying the cab driver was bad. Sai says she will call “Pookie Uncle” (Neil) and ask him to teach the driver a lesson. Savi feels uneasy seeing how fond Sai has grown of Neil.
Meanwhile, Neil is happy that he could bring a smile to Sai’s face. He thinks of sending their school photo to her and vows not to let Savi break their bond. He calls Sai’s number but finds it unreachable. He then texts her, saying he misses her. Just then, Yash arrives and gives him Ridhi’s number.
Back at home, Sai and Savi are shocked by something they see.
Elsewhere, Neil hears the doorbell and receives a parcel. He opens it. Meanwhile, Savi consults the doctor about Bhagyashree’s condition. Bhagyashree says she wants to see Ridhi to make sure she’s okay. At Ridhi’s place, she refuses to eat. Maruti tries to convince her.
Yash asks Neil about the envelope. Neil hands it over, and Yash announces that it contains Teju’s university results—she’s topped the university. Manjari says it’s unfortunate that Teju missed the moment. Bhushan and Leena are visibly displeased. Neil remarks that no one in the family celebrates Teju’s achievements. Vinod says they’re with Neil and will celebrate however he wants. Neil refuses and walks away. Manjari hopes Neil finds someone with whom he can share both his sorrow and joy.
The doctor tells Savi that Bhagyashree’s condition is due to stress, and reducing her stress could help. Savi promises to find a solution.
