Mangal Lakshmi 12th June 2025 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode begins with Adit telling Sowmya that everything they’re doing is for Sudesh’s well-being. He asks her not to create a scene and walks away. Sowmya, however, decides to handle the situation in her own way.
At the dining table, Sudesh points to Sowmya and gestures, asking why she’s sitting in Mangal’s place beside Adit. Kusum quickly covers up, saying it is Mangal’s seat, and requests Sowmya to shift to another chair.
Meanwhile, Kapil waits for Mangal at a meeting and grows anxious, thinking, “I’ve already delayed the meeting by an hour. When will Mangal arrive?” The investors begin making sexist remarks, saying women always prioritize family and therefore fail to become top entrepreneurs. Kapil firmly defends Mangal and all women, saying, “If you think so low of women, I don’t want to work with you.” Mr. Agarwal accuses him of getting too emotional by working with women, but Kapil sharply rebukes him. He worries that something serious might have happened to Mangal.
Back at home, Kusum is seen removing wedding photos of Sowmya and Adit. Mangal notices and questions her. Kusum replies, “I don’t want Sudesh to suffer emotionally seeing these photos.” Adit arrives and tells Mangal not to oppose Kusum, explaining that they can’t risk upsetting Sudesh. As Kusum is about to place a wedding photo of Adit and Mangal, Shanti arrives and stops her. She lashes out at Kusum and Adit for using Mangal for their selfish motives, saying, “You’ve already lost her.”
Sowmya smirks, recalling how she had secretly called and instigated Shanti against the Saxena family.
Kusum tries to calm Shanti, but Shanti refuses, saying, “I cannot tolerate any injustice toward Mangal.” When Kusum pleads, asking her to consider Sudesh’s health, Shanti replies, “I know everything, but my daughter comes first.” She insists Mangal come home with her. Mangal tries to resist, but Shanti scolds her, saying she’s becoming like the old Mangal—silent and submissive. She accuses the family of taking away Mangal’s sindoor and mangalsutra, and now conveniently asking her to wear them again just for their own benefit, without her consent. “They treat you like a slipper,” she says.
Mangal tries to explain that she’s doing everything for her father’s health, having just found him. But Shanti refuses to listen: “I’m your mother, and I won’t let you ruin your life for Kusum and Sudesh. Once they get what they want, they’ll betray you again.”
Adit tells Shanti to mind her language, but she fiercely rebukes him. Mangal pleads with her mother to let her stay until Sudesh reveals what happened to him and who is responsible for his condition. Shanti warns, “They will never be grateful, even if you help them. I’ll tell Sudesh everything myself.”
Adit and Kusum beg her not to. Shanti questions, “If my daughter is no longer your daughter-in-law, why should she be working for you?”
Just then, Sudesh enters and drops a bottle. Kusum rushes to him and pleads with Shanti not to take things further. Mangal realizes Sudesh wasn’t wearing his hearing device and didn’t hear anything. She gently places it on him and asks if he wants anything. He gestures toward the water bottle. Mangal asks Kamala to take him inside and hands her the bottle. Kamala escorts him away, while Sowmya is visibly frustrated that Sudesh didn’t hear Shanti’s confrontation.
Later, Kusum tells Shanti, “I understand your pain, but this isn’t the time for complaints. Please don’t say anything to Sudesh ji—it concerns his life.” Shanti replies, “I won’t tell him anything, but I won’t let Mangal stay here either.” She tries to forcibly take Mangal with her. Mangal, however, pleads, “Please leave my hand.”
