The episode begins with Anjali telling reporters that Chandraman is a fraud and is only doing all this to protect his public image. Chandraman argues with Anjali, asking if she wants to talk about image, why doesn’t she talk about Raghav and the Rajput family? He adds that everyone knows what kind of person Raghav is and makes further derogatory comments. Chandraman claims he will expose the truth. In response, Anjali tells him not to talk about the truth, calling him a corrupt politician. The two get into a heated argument until the police intervene and ask them not to create a scene in the hospital and to leave. Chandraman exits.
Bhajan threatens Anjali, saying she and her entire family are finished. Anjali calmly replies that once Raghav allows her to take up his case, she will teach them all a lesson. Bhajan yells at her, but Anjali gives him a fitting reply and sends him away.
Later, Anjali calls Mehek and tells her she needs her help to save Raghav. Mehek asks what she needs to do and reminds Anjali that she already agreed to marry Yuvraj for her father’s sake. Anjali says she doesn’t need to actually marry him—she just needs to pretend to be in love with him and find out his plan. Mehek agrees to help.
Anjali sends Mehek a phone number and instructs her to call it. She says the person on the other end will hand the phone to Yuvraj. Mehek questions how this is possible inside a prison. Anjali tells her not to worry about those details. Mehek complies.
Mehek makes the call and tells the person to hand the phone to Yuvraj and inform him that Mehek is calling. The person complies. On the call, Yuvraj sarcastically asks if she’s calling to mock him. Mehek responds that she misses him. Yuvraj asks if she’s serious. Mehek says he was her first love and she hasn’t been able to forget him. She asks if he really held Padma’s hand because he was intoxicated, or if there’s another reason—like love. Yuvraj insists he only loves Mehek and not Padma.
Mehek then asks what their future holds now that he’s in jail. Yuvraj assures her he won’t be there for long and hints that he has a plan. Though initially hesitant, he eventually reveals his plan after Mehek skillfully manipulates him.

Precap: Bhajan tells Raghav that no one can save him. Anjali confidently says she will. She pleads with Raghav to let her take up his case and shows that Ganesh has come in support. Anjali assures Raghav that they will always stand by him.
