The episode starts with the story set in New Delhi on New Year’s Day, 2025.
Babita and Lajjo notice that Bhagyasree’s dog has knocked over their dustbin while searching for bones. They ring Bhagyasree’s doorbell, and she wakes up.
Babita and Lajjo get scared upon seeing Bhagyasree. Bhagyasree tells them she is not a ghost. Babita and Lajjo ask about the black color on her face. Bhagyasree explains that it’s her kajal. Lajjo asks Bhagyasree if she really partied last night. Babita says Bhagyasree doesn’t party and always focuses on work. Babita and Lajjo then complain to Bhagyasree about her dog knocking over the dustbin and make a few comments. Bhagyasree picks up her dog and walks away. She asks her dog Kaddu why she always gets her into trouble and comments on it. Bhagyasree then cleans the dog and washes her hands.
Bhagyasree gets ready to leave for work. Babita and her friends come to her and ask why she hasn’t paid for the party. Nitya questions Babita, asking why Bhagyasree should pay when she doesn’t attend the party every year. Babita says that everyone in the society should contribute. Bhagyasree takes a fortune cookie and tries to leave, but Babita and others stop her and ask her to open it. Bhagyasree opens the cookie, and they read it aloud — it says Bhagyasree will get back her love. Bhagyasree thinks it’s nonsense and brushes it off.
Nitya invites Bhagyasree to the party that evening, but Bhagyasree refuses, saying she has work, and leaves.
Bhagyasree starts a meeting in her office. She says that women should use their Taatva lipstick and wear makeup because it makes them feel good. Zoya disagrees, saying that women wear makeup for their Prince Charming. Everyone in the meeting agrees with Zoya. Bhagyasree then says they should stay back tonight to finish the presentation. Zoya reminds her that it’s New Year’s Day. Bhagyasree says she’ll do the presentation herself and asks everyone to leave. The staff thank her and leave. Sunny and Zoya try to convince Bhagyasree to take a break, but she refuses. Sunny later asks her to hire his friend, but Bhagyasree declines, saying she cannot break the rules for anyone, and walks away.
Later that night, Bhagyasree hears a New Year’s message on the radio. She sees the peon still at work and asks her to go home. The peon agrees.
Naveen arrives and takes Bhagyasree to the party, saying Nitya wouldn’t let him attend without her. Bhagyasree goes with him.
At the party, Nitya introduces Bhagyasree to Raman. Bhagyasree and Raman step aside to talk. Raman says he’s looking to get married. Bhagyasree apologizes and says she’s not interested in marriage. Raman gets upset and criticizes her for wasting his time. He leaves and complains to Naveen before going.
Bhagyasree confronts Nitya for trying to set her up with such a rude person. Nitya defends Raman, saying he’s only rude because she rejected him and insists he’s otherwise a good guy. Nitya asks how long Bhagyasree plans to stay single. Bhagyasree says it’s her choice and comments on it.
Back home, Bhagyasree realizes Kaddu is missing. She searches for her and finds Kaddu in someone’s hands — it’s Rishabh. She watches as Rishabh gives his wallet to a beggar who asks for money. Bhagyasree tells him the dog belongs to her, but the lights go out and she doesn’t see his face. Rishabh leaves without expecting a thank you.
Impressed by Rishabh’s gesture, Bhagyasree decides to do a good deed too. She offers Sunny’s friend a job and calls Sunny to inform him.
Sunny then calls Rishabh and tells him he got the job. Rishabh thanks Sunny.
Bhagyasree receives a call from her father and feels excited as she’s talking to him after a long time.
