The episode begins with Bhagyashree’s father calling her. He tells her that her cousin Meenakshi’s marriage is fixed, and her parents are happy and have invited both Bhagyashree and her husband to the wedding. He adds that they are coming to Delhi for the marriage and mentions it’s been years since they last met. Overcome with emotion, he struggles to continue speaking. Bhagyashree’s mother takes the phone and says she will talk to her instead. Her mother tells Bhagyashree it has been a long time since they last spoke and asks if she is happy with her husband. She says they’ll meet her soon and hangs up the call. Bhagyashree reflects on her past, regretting going against her parents for love. She recalls how she became estranged from her family and refused to meet the man they had chosen for her. She breaks down in tears.
Meanwhile, the technician gets scared upon seeing Kaddu and demands more money from Bhagyashree. Chadda enters, talks to the technician, and sends him away. He then tries to take advantage of Bhagyashree, but she refuses and warns him to leave, threatening to file a complaint against him. Kaddu begins crying, and Bhagyashree rushes to him. Meanwhile, Chadda uses Bhagyashree’s phone to send a message to himself with the intention of tarnishing her image.
Later, Rishabh arrives at the office, but the security guard doesn’t allow him in without an ID card. Bhagyashree tells Nitya that Secretary Chadda tried to take advantage of her vulnerability. She says she will never fall in love again. Nitya responds, saying love enters your life when you least expect it. Just then, Bhagyashree’s dupatta flies and lands on Rishabh’s face. He returns it to her without seeing her face. On a call, Nitya instructs Naveen on how to feed their children. Rishabh tries to call Sunny, but he doesn’t pick up. Eventually, Rishabh talks his way past the guard and enters the office. Nitya then asks Bhagyashree how she will handle her parents, given that they believe she is married. Bhagyashree replies that she is still thinking about it.
Bhagyashree tells her friends that their current work isn’t their best and that they can do better. She warns her team that a team from Mumbai is coming, and if their presentation is more impressive, the project will be given to the Mumbai branch.
Chadda goes to the gym and gossips with his friends, falsely claiming that Bhagyashree sent him inappropriate messages. He even shows them his phone as proof. His friends are shocked and start gossiping, questioning Bhagyashree’s character.
Nitya approaches Bhagyashree and says she has a solution to her problem, urging her to come along. Bhagyashree agrees. Nitya then tells her to get married. Bhagyashree refuses, saying she can’t marry again after what happened and that she can’t give her heart to anyone else. Nitya advises her not to give her heart but to think of it as a practical deal, reminding her that she’s doing this for her father. She further adds that her parents have believed for the past five years that she is married. If they find out the truth—that the man she left them for never even accepted her—it will break their hearts. Nitya tells Bhagyashree to meet the man Reena, the marriage broker, has suggested. She advises Bhagyashree to downplay her career and simply say she earns enough, as men might not like knowing she has a high-profile job. Bhagyashree agrees and leaves.
Rishabh meets Sunny, who asks him to get Bhagyashree’s signature on the appointment letter. Rishabh agrees. As Bhagyashree leaves the office, Rishabh sees her and informs Sunny. Sunny tells him to get her signature; otherwise, he won’t get his salary for the month. Rishabh, concerned, chases after Bhagyashree in an auto.
Bhagyashree waits to meet the marriage prospect. Rishabh arrives, and Bhagyashree mistakenly assumes he’s the potential groom. She tells him that while she isn’t interested in marriage, she’s willing to do it for her parents and asks if he has any conditions. Rishabh says he has none and asks about her salary. Bhagyashree replies that she earns just enough and has a small job. Rishabh is impressed by her humility. He then asks for her signature, and Bhagyashree realizes he isn’t the marriage prospect but Sunny’s colleague. She signs the paper. Rishabh tells her not to underestimate herself and not to think she needs to settle to get married. He then leaves.
