The episode begins with Bhagyashree stunned to discover that Vikram is the CEO of the West Wing. Shocked, she immediately walks out. Nitya and Sonia follow her, concerned, and ask what happened. Bhagyashree replies that Vikram hid his identity and that everything around her feels like betrayal. Nitya and Sonia leave her alone, sensing she needs space.
Meanwhile, Rishabh sees Bhagyshree sitting alone and wonders if it’s the right time to discuss his salary. As he approaches her, Bhagyashree gets lost in painful memories—her love betrayed her five years ago and took everything from her. She recalls how she had left home and waited at a Delhi bus stand for her boyfriend, but he never came. She remembers calling him several times, but he never answered. Eventually, she received a heartbreaking message:
“You left home. We’re both unsettled. I can’t marry you without your family’s support. It’s tough to manage without money. Go back home.”
Tears fill her eyes as she regrets not listening to her father. Determined to return home, she checks her phone and sees a newspaper clipping—her father publicly disowning her and declaring they have no connection with her anymore. Desperate, she calls her sister-in-law and asks to speak to her father. Her sister-in-law replies coldly, “Appa is upset with you. You left for love, so stay happy with him,” and disconnects the call. Rishabh, who overhears this emotional moment, is deeply moved.
Bhagyashree reflects aloud, “I lost my father’s love for a man who only wanted money. My father loved me so much, and I would’ve given my life for him. But that man shattered my trust—my trust in humanity itself.” Rishabh walks away quietly, affected by her pain.
Bhagyashree then resolves, “I will never give anyone control over my life again.” She decides to remain strictly professional with Vikram. When Vikram tries to speak to her, she calmly says, “Join me in the meeting room for the presentation.”
As she’s about to enter, Rishabh tries to speak to her. She tells him firmly, “You’re my assistant, right? Hold my phone and inform anyone who calls that I’m in a meeting.” She enters the conference room and delivers the presentation with confidence.
During the meeting, Bhagyashree receives a call. Rishabh answers—it’s matchmaker Reeta, who says the groom is interested but needs Bhagyashree’s father’s number. Fearing the match might fall through, Rishabh gives her Appa’s number, assuming it would please Bhagyashree.
After the presentation, Bhagyashree receives applause from everyone. Rishabh proudly approaches her and says, “Reeta said the groom is interested in your match, so I gave her your father’s number.” Nitya scolds Rishabh for overstepping boundaries and sends him away.
Vikram, having overheard the conversation, calls Reeta and firmly says, “Before contacting the bride’s family, learn the bride’s opinion first,” and ends the call.
Bhagyashree thanks Vikram and opens up, “My family still believes I’m married. They don’t know the man cheated me five years ago. I thought you had lied too.” Vikram replies, “I only hid my identity to observe your work style. Your ex is the unlucky one for losing you. Trust me—I won’t step back.” He offers her water, and she drinks it.
Later, Sunny confronts Rishabh about the incident. Rishabh admits, “I made a mistake by giving Bhagyashree’s father’s number to Reeta on my very first day.” Sunny warns him, “Bhagyashree is a private person. I can’t guarantee your job now.” Rishabh responds, “It’s okay.” Sunny walks away.
As Rishabh is about to leave, Bhagyashree arrives and asks where he’s going. Rishabh says, “I just wanted to help, but I messed up.” Bhagyashree replies, “You’ll learn. You didn’t do it intentionally, so it’s okay.” She adds, “You’re an intern, so your salary will be ₹35,000. Once your position is confirmed, I’ll increase it.” Rishabh praises her professionalism.
Bhagyashree says, “Let’s keep things professional.” Rishabh jokes, “I haven’t given my appointment letter to HR yet, so I might still get personal sometimes.” He adds, “I just want you to be happy. By the way, which shampoo do you use?” Bhagyashree looks at him in surprise, then says she’ll submit his joining letter and leaves.
Sunny comes to Rishabh and congratulates him. Rishabh smiles and silently prays for Bhagyashree’s happiness.
