The episode begins with Vikram asking Sunny to keep ₹1 lakh meant for the vendor with him. Sunny agrees but then approaches Rishabh, requesting him to safeguard the vendor’s money to gain Vikram sir’s trust. Vikram notices this and thinks to himself, “I knew you’d do this, Sunny.” Secretly, he steals a portion of the money from the bag Sunny gave to Rishabh.
Later, Vikram asks Sunny to hand over the money to the vendor who has arrived. Rishabh hands over the cash, but the vendor counts it and says it’s only ₹72,000 — ₹28,000 is missing. Both Rishabh and Sunny are shocked and claim they have no idea about the shortfall. Vikram steps in, pays the vendor the remaining amount, and sends him away.
Vikram then accuses Rishabh of theft and scolds Sunny for not handling the task himself. He creates a scene and has Rishabh fired from his job.
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree tells Kaddu that she doesn’t want to give anyone another chance to hurt her. She says, “I have to marry Vikram. I can’t break my parents’ hearts again,” and sets out to speak with him. On the way, the driver tells her they can’t go further. Determined, Bhagyashree walks through the rain. She almost runs into Rishabh, but a couple on a bike blocks her view.
Bhagyashree rings Vikram’s doorbell. Vikram opens the door, pretending to be concerned, and asks why she came in such a storm. Bhagyashree directly asks him if he wants to marry her. Vikram assures her, saying he’s completely sure about her and wants to marry her.
Later, Bhagyashree arrives at the office, where Rishabh is also present. She finds out he has been fired. As she leaves for a meeting, Rishabh follows her car and speaks to her through the window. He tells her, “I’m no longer your employee, so I can speak freely. Vikram isn’t the right person. If you trust him, your heart will break again. You’re just an option to him.” Bhagyashree is shocked by his words. Rishabh slips and falls, but Bhagyashree’s car drives away. She silently reflects on his words and wipes her tears.
Bhagyashree and Vikram then meet their boss, who informs them that she will interview both of them for a promotion, and only one will be selected. Bhagyashree performs better than Vikram during the interview. The boss says she will announce her decision shortly.
Vikram tells Bhagyashree, “We want to spend life together, then why are we competing for a promotion?” Bhagyashree replies, “We knew about this competition beforehand.” Vikram insists, “I know ma’am will choose you. But back out—for our relationship. After all, your husband becoming the Head of India operations will make your parents proud. You’ll need breaks during pregnancy too. Make a wise decision.” He receives a message and tells her, “Boss has called us in. I’ll pay the bill and join you.” Bhagyashree looks on, unsure.
Meanwhile, Shaina confronts Rishabh, asking why he hasn’t left yet. He says he’s leaving and adds, “Tomorrow Vikram and Bhagyashree are getting married. I have a lot of work to do.” He walks away.
Shaina then video calls Vikram and asks why he’s marrying Bhagyashree, reminding him that he promised to back out if she withdrew her name from the promotion. Vikram assures her that everything will go as planned, saying, “Now I’m going in to hear the final decision.” On the call, Shaina asks if he’ll really come back to her after this. Vikram confirms it. Rishabh witnesses the entire conversation and finally understands Vikram’s true intentions.

Precap: Vikram asks the inspector to arrest Rishabh for creating a scene at the wedding. But Bhagyashree intervenes and asks the police to arrest Vikram instead. She shows them Vikram and Shaina’s wedding invitation. Bhagyashree breaks down in the rain, and Rishabh supports her by holding an umbrella over her.
Nitya later approaches Rishabh for help. She tells Bhagyashree that she has hired an actor to pose as her husband in front of her parents and asks Rishabh to take on the role.
