The episode starts with Adit coming in front of Mangal. Adit apologizes to Mangal for his misbehavior at the function yesterday. Sowmya, who witnesses this, gets upset thinking that she worked hard to create differences between Mangal and Adit, but Adit’s one apology might wipe it all away. Sowmya thinks she has to do something and leaves from there.
Kusum tells Mangal that after what Adit did yesterday, she might not want to stay in this house. Kusum adds that she won’t stop her if she decides to leave. Sudesh overhears their conversation and calls out for Mangal. He falls off the wheelchair, and Adit and Mangal rush to help him.
It is revealed that Sowmya was the one who brought Sudesh out of his room.
Mangal and Adit lift Sudesh onto the bed and try to wake him up. Sowmya tries to incite Kusum against Mangal by saying that Sudesh must have overheard their conversation about Kapil and Mangal’s engagement, which caused him to lose consciousness.
Mangal tells Adit that the doctor has taught her what to do in such situations. She gives an injection to Sudesh, who regains consciousness. Kusum says they were just having a casual conversation.
Sudesh notices the engagement ring on Mangal’s finger. Mangal understands and says, “Baba, I was about to tell you everything, but I didn’t know how.” Sudesh blesses Mangal by placing his hand on her head and asks her to stay happy. He says, “You and Adit are not happy in your marriage—I know it. You’re going to start a new life, and my blessings are with you.” Everyone is shocked. Mangal becomes emotional.
Later, Mangal brings her luggage to the hall and asks Kusum to forgive her if possible. She takes Kusum’s blessings. Kusum blesses her to always stay happy. Mangal gets emotional. Kusum says that Sudesh’s quick recovery was because of her. She admits, “Sudesh gave you his blessings even in this condition. Your mother was right about me. I said I’m your mother, but I didn’t mean it completely. Now I want to become your mother and do your vidaai from this house. Stay here till then, so you can also spend time with the children.” Mangal replies that her mother wants the same, and she can’t refuse her.
Kusum calls Shanti and tells her that Mangal came to collect her luggage. She says, “You’re right—I never fully accepted Mangal as my daughter. But now, I want her to stay here one last time and leave from this house as my daughter.” Shanti replies, “My daughter’s vidaai happened from your house six months ago—how can I send her back?” Kusum pleads with Shanti to give her one last chance. Shanti agrees. Kusum thanks her for giving permission and tells Mangal that Shanti has agreed. She asks Mangal if she will stay with them. Sowmya gets angry and goes inside. Mangal sees Kapil. Kapil says, “Your decision is my decision.”
Sowmya comes to the hall and tells Adit that Ishana is not in her room. Everyone is shocked.
Episode ends.
Precap: Kapil ends his relationship with Mangal and returns the engagement ring. Ishana feels happy seeing this.
