The drama unfolds when Akshat and Ishana receive expensive gifts from Kapil. While Mangal appears unaware, Ishana becomes suspicious and discards the bracelet in anger. The situation escalates when Kusum and Adit confront Mangal, who initially denies any involvement.
However, Adit shocks everyone by revealing Mangal and Kapil’s wedding invitation, leaving the family stunned. Kusum feels betrayed, and despite Mangal’s attempts to explain, Kusum severs ties with her. Mangal then reveals she agreed to marry Kapil only to save her ailing mother, but her justification fails to convince Kusum, who demands she choose between Kapil and the family. Mangal’s hesitation causes Kusum to walk away in pain, while Adit openly questions her character, deepening the emotional divide.
In the upcoming episode, Mangal gets ready as a bride. Lakshmi says to Mangal that she is very happy for her, as she is getting married to Kapil, and hopes Mangal will get the respect and happiness she deserves. Mangal asks Lakshmi if a woman’s happiness and respect are linked to a man’s name and questions whether a woman can’t get respect and happiness on her own.
