The episode begins with Karthik warning Jia’s henchmen not to inform Jia that they failed to kill Lakshmi. As he turns to leave, Lakshmi asks if he’s alright. Karthik replies that although he went with Jia, she didn’t hypnotize him. Lakshmi breathes a sigh of relief and says, “That means I chose the right pendulum. I’m so glad you’re safe.” She hugs him emotionally.
However, Karthik suddenly pulls away and angrily tells Lakshmi to get lost, reminding her that she married someone else and he now hates her. Lakshmi grabs his collar and says, “I still love you. The truth is different. A wall of misunderstanding stands between us. Trust me once—just come with me.” Karthik hesitates but eventually agrees.
Lakshmi takes Karthik to Raghuveer’s house and shows him Antara. Karthik is shocked to see Antara and asks how it’s possible that she looks exactly like Lakshmi. Lakshmi replies, “It’s a twist of fate. Our misunderstandings arose because my face matches Antara’s.” She explains how Jia blackmailed Raghuveer into creating misunderstandings between them to protect her daughter Veda. Raghuveer confirms the story and assures Karthik that Lakshmi is just his friend.
Karthik breaks down, feeling guilty for not trusting Lakshmi. She consoles him, and Raghuveer apologizes. Karthik responds, “You did it for your daughter. You don’t need to apologize.” Just then, Karthik’s alarm rings. He says he set it himself. Raghuveer instructs him to go back and act as if he’s still under Jia’s hypnosis—so her illusion remains unbroken. Karthik and Lakshmi leave.
Meanwhile, Jia wakes up, thinking she’s lucky that Lakshmi is dead. She hears Umesh talking to Gayatri and Sanjana about finding the house papers. He warns that if the documents fall into the wrong hands, they could be in trouble and suggests filing a police complaint. Jia panics and thinks, “I must sell this house quickly before they find out it’s in my name. I don’t care if Karthik’s family ends up on the streets.”
Later, Jia checks on Karthik and sees him asleep. She assumes he’s still hypnotized and leaves. Karthik opens his eyes and thinks, “Lakshmi saved me by sending me here on time. I hope she’s okay.” At that moment, Lakshmi enters and overhears Jia speaking to Mathur on the phone, trying to sell the house for their hotel project. Lakshmi is shocked and thinks, “How can she sell this house? It’s in Dad’s name!”
She rushes to Karthik and tends to the wound on his chest. They both get emotional. Lakshmi tells him about Jia’s conversation with Mathur. Karthik reveals, “Jia did all this because of me. I agreed to marry her because she threatened to destroy my family. She ruined my business and then bought our house in her name to cover the losses. I failed as a son and a husband.”
Lakshmi says, “But you searched for me and now we’re together again.” She holds his hand and says, “I promise to set everything right—with your support.” Karthik nods in agreement.
