The episode starts with Adit telling Kusum that he is asking Mangal to leave the house. Adit says he saw with his own eyes how Mangal went into Kapil’s arms. Mangal asks Adit what nonsense he is speaking. Adit continues commenting on Mangal. He tells Kusum that he saw Mangal coming from Kapil’s house and again comments on her character. Ishana asks Mangal if what Adit said is true and questions if she still wants to marry Kapil after what he has done to her. Ishana asks Mangal if she doesn’t care about her.
Ishana notices Mangal doesn’t have her engagement ring on and questions her. Mangal says she doesn’t need to answer anyone. She says, “I’m the same Mangal who always did the best for my kids. I’m not someone who blames others for their mistakes. I resigned from Pehla Swad, and I’m not working there anymore.” Sowmya asks if she is telling the truth. Mangal says her children’s happiness matters to her and she always does what’s best for them, then she leaves. Sowmya thinks her plan has flopped with this new twist and now Mangal won’t leave the house.
Kapil looks at photos of himself and Mangal on his laptop. He misses Mangal and cries while looking at the engagement ring.
Later, Mangal covers Ishana with a duvet. Ishana says, “Love you, Mom.” Mangal turns off the light and asks Ishana to sleep. After Mangal leaves, Ishana starts watching reels on her phone. Yash calls Ishana and says, “You said you would return the favor when I needed, so come and meet me. Otherwise, I’ll tell everyone that you slapped yourself, not Kapil.” Ishana tells him she is coming to meet him. She slowly walks out of the house.
Mangal feels she heard a sound and wakes up. She comes out and asks, “Who is there?” Ishana hides from Mangal and escapes from the house.
Ishana meets Yash and asks if he is crazy to demand 50,000 from her. Yash says she owes him and asks her to pay. Ishana tells him to ask for another favor and promises to do all his projects, but Yash refuses. He shows her the video he recorded that day.
Meanwhile, Mangal notices the main door is open. She tries to close it but sees Ishana’s anklet (payal) stuck. Mangal feels suspicious and checks Ishana’s room, but Ishana isn’t there.
Ishana asks Yash why he recorded the video. Yash threatens to expose her in front of her parents if she doesn’t pay him 50,000. He gives her one day’s time. Mangal comes out searching for Ishana. Yash leaves before Mangal arrives.
Mangal finds Ishana and asks where she had gone. Ishana walks despite being injured, not responding to Mangal. Mangal takes Ishana inside. Adit asks Mangal why Ishana is injured. Mangal says Ishana looks lost and isn’t answering anything. Mangal pours water on Ishana’s face. Ishana acts as if she is regaining consciousness and asks why she is there and how she got injured. Mangal asks why Ishana went outside. Ishana says she doesn’t remember anything. She says, “I saw a disturbing dream about Kapil. That’s all I remember. I don’t know what happened after that.” Mangal questions her. Adit says, “My daughter is in trauma because of Kapil, so stop questioning her.”
Mangal makes Ishana sleep in her room and leaves. Ishana thinks it was a close escape and wonders how to arrange money for Yash. Mangal feels suspicious. She hears a phone ringing and sees it’s Ishana’s phone. Ishana comes out and takes the phone from Mangal. Mangal says, “You always keep your phone with you. How did it fall down?” Ishana says, “Maybe it fell while I was sleepwalking.” Mangal thinks if Ishana is hiding something from her.
