The episode starts with Lakshmi telling Karthik and Raghuveer that Jia needs to be taken away from the house while they search her room, otherwise Jia might get suspicious and sell the property to someone else. Karthik assures Lakshmi he will handle it. He approaches Jia, talks to her romantically, and convinces her to go out with him. Jia agrees and leaves with him.
Lakshmi and Raghuveer then decide to check both of Jia’s rooms.
While leaving, Jia notices that two of her nails are missing. She tells Karthik that she’ll go back to get them. Karthik tries to stop her but fails. Meanwhile, Lakshmi is in Jia’s room trying to unlock the cupboard. Jia walks in and finds Lakshmi (in disguise as Cat) there. Jia asks what she’s doing. Lakshmi replies, “I was setting my hair. I really like this house and want to shift to this room. I don’t want to stay in the storeroom.”
Jia responds, “You haven’t bought the house yet, so please stay in the guest room.” Lakshmi signals Raghuveer and says, “Jia isn’t letting me see the room, so let’s leave.” As they are about to go, Jia stops them and surprisingly says they can stay in her room. Lakshmi agrees.
Just then, Karthik arrives and asks if everything is alright. Jia says yes. Karthik then tells her, “The hotel reservation didn’t happen, and there’s a lot of water outside. Let’s go on a date some other time.” Jia agrees.
Later, Lakshmi tells Karthik that they couldn’t find the property papers. She says, “If we fail to get the papers, we’ll need to arrange money.” Karthik replies, “We don’t have that much money.” Lakshmi says, “I have an idea.”
The next day, Lakshmi asks Jia to prepare tea and parathas for her, saying the household helpers didn’t show up. Jia refuses at first but eventually agrees. Jia struggles in the kitchen while preparing tea, and Lakshmi intentionally keeps her busy with household chores.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi tells Vicky that she likes the house and asks him to buy it. Vicky mentions budget issues. Lakshmi suggests selling their Mumbai house. Raghuveer intervenes, saying, “That’s a sea-facing house. We’ll suffer a loss. Please understand.”
Just then, Jia arrives and sees photos of their Mumbai house. She’s impressed and says, “That’s a dream house.” Lakshmi smiles and says, “I like your house, and you like mine. Why don’t we exchange them?”
Jia thinks to herself that they must be crazy to suggest such an exchange, as their house is stunning. But surprisingly, Jia agrees. Jia leaves to meet her lawyer to ready the papers.
At lawyer office, Jia meets Mathur and confronts him why he backout from the deal without telling her anything and you lost the great deal. Mathur says you’re cheat as Karthik came to me and said he is not selling any house and papers with you are fake so stop fooling us. He leaves. Jia suspects Karthik and thinks something is very wrong.
