The episode starts with Raghav waking up, calling out Shanaya’s name. He calls her, but the maid informs him that Shanaya is in her room. Raghav asks what she is doing there. The maid struggles to answer.
Meanwhile, Maama and the drama troupe members search for Dil at the bus stand. Lata, feeling scared, hides in an auto with Dil. Lata tells Dil that her Maama doesn’t care about her well-being and reveals that her father is a famous singer in Mumbai. She assures Dil that she will drop her off at his house for her safety. Dil asks if Lata will stay with her, but Lata says she will drop her off and return to Raunakpur.
Raghav goes to Shanaya’s room and finds her misbehaving with his mother and the maid. He tells Shanaya that her behavior is unacceptable. Shanaya replies that he doesn’t love them and wants to leave, saying that her mother has told her everything. She pushes Raghav out without listening and even pushes his mother. Raghav gets angry, but his mother assures him she is fine.
Raghav drives angrily, recalling Shanaya’s words. He narrowly avoids an accident.
At the bus station, Lata sees police officers and decides to seek their help. Meanwhile, Maama enquires at the bus stand and learns that Lata has taken tickets to Mumbai. Just then, a woman whom Dil had helped earlier stops Lata, warning her that the police are looking for them and showing her photos as proof. Lata notices Maama talking to the police.
Natasha arrives at Nandini’s house. Meanwhile, Lata decides to disguise Dil as a boy for her safety. She buys boy’s clothes and takes Dil to a barber shop, asking the barber to cut her hair short. Dil refuses at first, but Lata convinces her.
At Nandini’s house, Natasha asks Lata’s kids if this is Nandini’s house. Mitti and her brother tell her that Nandini is dead.
Maama passes by the barber shop. Maami hides from him. Maama sees Dil with her boy haircut but doesn’t recognize her and leaves. Lata feels relieved and tells Dil that her uncle didn’t recognize her. Dil asks why, so Lata shows her reflection in the mirror. Dil feels sad seeing her short hair, remembering her mother loved it. Lata consoles her, saying it was necessary to protect her from Maama. Dil worries her mother won’t recognize her now, but Lata reassures her that her mother will and her hair will grow back. She then tells Dil that Maama has already searched the buses, so they must catch a Mumbai bus now.
Back at Nandini’s house, Mitti tells Natasha that Dil claimed her mother is still alive and will bring her back. Natasha asks about Dil’s father. Mitti and her brother say they have never seen him, calling him “Mr. India.” After learning Dil age Natasha begins to suspect that Dil might be Raghav’s daughter.
