The episode begins with Dil expressing joy at seeing Mau Billi. She says she missed her and adds that today they can seek Raghav Ji’s help in finding her parents.
Meanwhile, Shanaya receives a gift from Raghav but dislikes it and deliberately breaks it. Raghav catches her in the act and yells at her for breaking the gift Nandini gave him. Shanaya tries to cover up her action with a lie. Natasha arrives and questions why he’s scolding their daughter over a “silly instrument.” She reminds him that he ruined her exhibition and now this is his punishment. She questions what’s so special about the instrument. Raghav replies that the thread connects him to music, and declares that from now on, no music will be heard in the house.
Just then, the power goes out. Billi heads to the balcony, and Dil follows. In his room, Raghav vents his rage and starts breaking things. Dil witnesses his outburst, gets frightened, and starts crying.
Nandini appears and sees the broken Ragini instrument, the one she had gifted Raghav. Raghav sits in sorrow. Nandini tells him not to mourn the instrument, reminding him that their love is eternal. She assures him that one day, his daughter will repair the instrument. She disappears.
Shanaya approaches Raghav, who calls her over. She admits she was scared seeing him fight with Natasha. He apologizes and tells her how much the instrument meant to him. Shanaya promises to practice music and asks him to make a promise in return. He agrees.
Meanwhile, Mannu warns Dil that she may get caught by Padmini and insists they should leave. Dil agrees, telling Billi that Raghav will never help them.
Later, Shanaya ties Raghav and Natasha’s hands together and tells them she’s quitting music to fulfill their dreams. She asks them to become best friends again for her sake. Chandan’s wife encourages them to do it for their daughter. Raghav and Natasha agree to co-parent peacefully. Shanaya makes them promise to stop fighting, have a family dinner and movie night every week, attend her school meetings together, and stay in the same room like other parents. Though reluctant, they agree not to break their promise.
Dil tells Billi to wait outside and assures her she’ll return soon. Manu hides Dil from Raghav’s mother. Hungry, Dil sneaks to the dining area and eats a banana. Manu finds her and quickly pulls her aside, wraps her in a white blanket, and urges her to leave before someone sees her. Manu leaves as Raghav’s mother calls for her.
Dil then bumps into Sili, who mistakes her for a ghost and screams. Dil hides under the stairs. Raghav’s mother and Sili come to check, but Dil throws the white blanket over them and escapes upstairs. She spots Padmini struggling to reach her injection. Remembering Manu’s warning, Dil hesitates and becomes fearful.
Episode ends.
Precap: Dil is locked in a dark room and feels hungry. She thinks about her mother. Suddenly, a chapati is thrown in front of her. Natasha enters the room. Dil tells Natasha that she wants her mother. Natasha strikes a deal, saying she’ll give her mother in exchange for her voice. Dil agrees.
