The episode starts with Ayaan asking Mala about her brother Raj, who didn’t join them to dinner. Mala tells him that Raj is busy studying, so Ayaan decides to serve food to Raj. Meera decides to accompany him, saying they have to invite the Kaalkarni’s for dinner. Ayaan asks her to contact them through their telephone, but Meera tells him they aren’t answering the calls. They both go to meet the Kaalkarni’s. D.D Kaalkarni stops Meera from knocking the room door, saying his kids are sleeping, so he asks her and Ayaan not to disturb them. They agree. But they insist D.D Kaalkarni to have dinner with them. The latter agrees to have dinner with others, but he lies to them that he has brought food from outside for his kids. Ayaan asked him when he left the hotel because he didn’t see him leaving through the main door. D.D Kaalkarni lies that he has used the back gate. Ayaan leaves from there with Meera.
Ayaan shares his suspicion with Meera about D.D Kaalkarni’s strange behaviour. Meera asks him to stop suspecting D.D Kaalkarni, who is a professor. Ayaan tells her about D.D Kaalkarni’s lie to them. Meera advises him. So Ayaan goes to serve food to Raj in his room. Raj appears in front of him, and he acts strange, which shocks Ayaan, so he drops the food. Hearing the noise, Meera rushes to Ayaan. She asks him what happened to which Ayaan points in the other direction and takes Raj’s name. Meera gets confused, not seeing anyone there. Ayaan gets shocked at Raj’s sudden disappearance. He pleads with Meera to believe him. Both Meera and Ayaan get shocked to see Raj with D.D Kaalkarni. Ayaan approaches Raj, but he gets distracted by one of the villagers who praises him for letting them all stay at his hotel. After the interaction, Ayaan gets shocked, not finding Raj there. D.D Kaalkarni tells him that Raj returned to his house to study.
Later, Meera visits Raj’s house. His sister informs her that Raj must be in his friends house. Meera asks her to call after Raj returns to home. She then gets shocked seeing the bicycle of Raj outside the house only, so she feels Ayaan’s suspicion may be right. While Raj appears in front of Mala and demands her to go with him. His strange behaviour confuses Mala, so she questions him. D.D Kaalkarni arrives there and uses black magic to hypnotise Mala.
After returning to the haveli, Meera shares with Ayaan about the information she has collected about Raj. She also agrees to support Ayaan to find out the truth of D.D Kaalkarni. But she gets mad when Ayaan informs her that he has entered into the room where Dakini’s ashes are being protected. Ayaan apologises to her.
Here, D.D Kaalkarni realises his wife has come out of his hypnotise power, so he approaches her, but when he hears the door knocking sound and gets alerted. While Meera questions Ayaan about their plan. The latter defends their decision. They both then enter the room and get uneasy seeing the closeness between D.D. and his wife. Meera apologises, and then she interacts with Mrs.Kaalkarni while Ayaan distracts D.D. He also spreads powder to find whether D.D. is involved with evil spirit. D.D. thinks Ayaan and Meera are fools after noticing Ayaan’s act. Both Ayaan and Meera become speechless when D.D. questions Ayaan’s act.
