The episode begins with Lakshmi and Gayatri confronting Prema, asking her to stop spreading lies. Prema insists she’s telling the truth and claims that Jia was pregnant with Karthik’s child. She accuses them of not trusting her and shows a video of Jia, where Jia states she is carrying Karthik’s baby and hopes he will accept her. Lakshmi dismisses the video as fake, saying Karthik didn’t kill Jia and she wasn’t pregnant with his child. Prema argues that Lakshmi has no idea what happened in the last six months and declares that she lost both her daughter and unborn grandchild. Gayatri demands that Prema stop blaming her son, but Prema vows to make Karthik pay. Lakshmi defends Karthik and promises to get him out on bail, stating that time is running out.
Meanwhile, Karthik pleads with the inspector to hear him out. The inspector refuses, citing the evidence against him and stating that no one can save him. Lakshmi arrives and argues that Karthik is innocent. She reminds the inspector how Jia falsely framed Karthik before and even tried to poison him on Teej. The inspector questions whether Lakshmi believes Jia killed herself out of revenge, noting they found the murder weapon with Karthik. A constable then brings a bag containing a pregnancy test and reports confirming Jia was pregnant. The inspector suggests Karthik killed Jia to hide the pregnancy. Karthik tells Lakshmi that Jia never told him about the pregnancy and asks her to trust him. The inspector grants Lakshmi five minutes to speak with Karthik.
Karthik tells Lakshmi he can’t live if she thinks he’s guilty. Lakshmi assures him of her faith and says they must prove his innocence. Karthik regrets the trouble he’s causing her, but Lakshmi reassures him, promising to fight by his side and get him released with dignity.
Back at Karthik’s house, media reporters bombard Gayatri with questions. In tears, Gayatri declares her son’s innocence and tells them to ask Lakshmi, who she claims hated Jia. Umesh questions Gayatri’s statement and pulls her aside, reprimanding her for blaming Lakshmi. Still, Gayatri insists that Lakshmi might be the real culprit.
Lakshmi investigates the concert venue, gets CCTV footage from a stall owner, and sees Jia and Karthik arguing. Suddenly, an old lady falls, and Lakshmi rushes to help her. During this distraction, the footage mysteriously disappears. Umesh criticizes Gayatri’s actions, and Sanjana agrees, stating that Gayatri was wrong.
Lakshmi realizes someone deleted the footage deliberately. Meanwhile, a group of women attack her, showing her the viral video where Gayatri accuses her. They try to smear mud on Lakshmi’s face, but she escapes and hides. Sanjana calls Lakshmi, urging her to return home as the video has gone viral and it’s unsafe. Lakshmi replies she won’t return until she finds proof of Karthik’s innocence.
Lakshmi visits the hospital and finds police present. The inspector asks her to leave, but she informs him that someone deleted the CCTV footage and insists a third person is involved. She asks if any third-party fingerprints were found. The inspector refuses to comment, but a doctor reveals there were additional fingerprints. However, the inspector later claims that in Jia’s case, only Karthik’s fingerprints were found on the knife and Jia’s were not—calling Karthik a liar. Lakshmi senses a major conspiracy is unfolding.
