The episode starts with Chandrika telling Katha about the responsibilities of a new daughter-in-law of the house. She wonders how the relationship between a husband and wife gets strong. Katha gets sad recalling UV’s words. Chandrika then tells Katha to keep the family united. While Ash complains to others about Katha’s act. Pari also criticises her. Eshwar arrives there, and he starts praising Katha for her interest in learning the responsibilities of a new daughter-in-law of the house. Seeing him, UV’s cousins hide themselves behind a pillar, but Eshwar sees them and starts taunting them. Rukmini takes their side, so they all expresses their love to her, then run away from there.
UV arrives there, and he gets annoyed when his cousins persuade him to see Katha’s efforts to be in the good books of the elders of their house. He complains to them about Katha’s blackmail the previous night. Shlok arrives there, and he shows interest in learning about Katha’s blackmail but UV refuses to share with him for trapping him the previous night. He also says that he won’t trust his family members anymore.
Later, Katha goes to the kitchen, where she gets shocked learning Nathu Lal is separately preparing tea for everyone, but she decides to prepare herbal drink for everyone. Nathu Lal tries to change her decision, but Katha refuses to listen to him. She prepares the herbal drink for the family members and serves it to them. The elders of the family get shocked to see the herbal drink in place of their tea. So Eshwar, Kailash, and other family members question her. Katha explains to them the reason behind her decision. UV and his cousins arrive there. UV taunts Eshwar for Katha’s decision to exchange their tea with her herbal drink. So Eshwar decides not to show UV that he doesn’t like herbal drink. He encourages the family members to have herbal drinks. But they all ask him to taste it first. Eshwar agrees and has the drink. Katha prays Eshwar likes the herbal drink. Eshwar smiles and praises Katha so the other family members also taste the herbal drink and start praising Katha. UV and his cousins get shocked. UV taunts Shlok when the latter asks Katha to share the herbal drink recipe with Charu so that he can have it after he goes back to Singapore. Katha obliges. Shlok asks UV to taste the drink, but UV refuses and asks Nathu Lal to bring his tea and then leaves. Katha gets upset and wonders how to change UV’s habit of having tea.
Mohan arrives there to take Katha and UV for pagphere. Rukmini shares her worries with Eshwar about who will convince UV. Shlok decides to inform UV, but Eshwar stops him and calls Katha. He shares his helplessness about the current situation. He also vent out his frustration about UV’s cousins, who don’t help them to convince UV. Katha says to herself that UV has made a promise to her, but she wonders whether he will keep his promises or not. Meanwhile, UV’s cousins tell Shikha that they won’t help the elders because UV will get mad at them. Shikha rebukes them.
In UV’s room, Tammy complains to UV for questioning her work and also comparing her with gobar devi. Both UV and Sandy ask Tammy to focus on their work, but Tammy accuses Katha for trapping UV in a marriage. She also questions UV for accepting everything. UV gets annoyed and tells her that he didn’t accept gobar devi as his wife. Katha, who hears this from outside the room, gets sad.
Precap: UV challenges Katha to speak to him in English for the next 2 minutes, and then he will go with her to Mohan’s house as a part of the ritual. Tammy laughs at Katha, but she gets shocked when Katha completes her challenge. UV becomes speechless, too.
