The episode begins with Mangal and Kapil arriving at Adit’s home. Akshat warmly welcomes them and informs Mangal that there’s an art exhibition at school, and his teacher has invited both her and Adit to attend. Ishana joins them and says she’s participating in a debate competition, requesting their presence at the presentation hall. Mangal and Adit agree to come.
Just then, Sowmya arrives and questions Adit for agreeing to attend the event, reminding him that their flight to Mumbai for her friend’s wedding is already scheduled and non-refundable. Mangal assures them that she will manage things alone. The kids also insist Adit go to Mumbai, saying they’ll attend the event with Kapil and Mangal. Although Adit is reluctant, Sowmya insists he pack his luggage and leaves. Adit then asks Mangal if she wants him to stay out of the children’s lives. Mangal is confused, but Adit brushes it off.
Meanwhile, Kapil receives multiple calls from his ex-girlfriend. He steps out to attend one, and Adit secretly follows. Kapil warns Monisha to stop calling him and says he’ll meet her one last time. Adit tries to overhear the conversation but fails. Soon, Sowmya calls Adit, urging him to leave for Mumbai.
While traveling in a cab, Sowmya excitedly talks about their Mumbai trip. Adit notices Kapil with a woman through the rearview mirror. He suddenly stops the cab, pretending that Mangal is calling about trouble at the school event. He acts angry and says he must stay back to support the kids, promising to join Sowmya in Mumbai later. Disappointed, Sowmya leaves for the airport.
Mangal tries calling Kapil, but he doesn’t answer—something unusual. Adit, suspicious, tries to approach Kapil, who seems angry while talking to someone, but traffic prevents him from reaching him. Adit becomes determined to uncover the truth.
At home, Kusum expresses to Sudesh that she hoped Adit would rectify his mistakes and win Mangal back, but now he’s left again. Just then, Ishana announces Adit’s return. Kusum asks why, and Adit lies, saying he’s unwell and Sowmya went to Mumbai alone. Kusum is secretly pleased. At dinner, Akshat invites Adit to eat. During the meal, Adit casually asks Mangal if she met Kapil that evening. When Mangal says no, Adit internally confirms that the woman with Kapil wasn’t her.
Later, Mangal calls Kapil and asks why he didn’t answer her calls and how the meeting went. Kapil lies that it went well. Adit overhears and suspects he’s hiding something. After the call, Pratima checks on Kapil, who brushes it off and leaves.
The next day, Adit and Mangal leave for the school event. While speaking with Mangal, Adit gets a call from Sowmya and becomes distracted, accidentally hitting Monisha with the car. They get out and rush to help her. Monisha, injured, says she has no one in the city. Mangal suggests they take her to the hospital. While helping her into the car, Adit checks her phone and notices several missed calls from her to Kapil, confirming his suspicions.
