The episode begins with the Pehla Swad workers arriving at Mangal’s place. They tie rakhi to Kapil, asking him to take care of Mangal. Seeing this, Mangal asks Monisha to also tie rakhi to Kapil since she is now part of the Pehla Swad workers. Adit thinks Mangal did the right thing and encourages Monisha to tie the rakhi, saying, “You got a job, and now you’ll have a brother too.” Kapil and Monisha both look tense. Suddenly, Monisha acts dizzy, and Mangal asks if she is alright. Monisha replies that she’s still feeling weak, which is why she feels dizzy. Adit tells her to rest if she’s unwell. Monisha agrees and goes inside.
As the Pehla Swad workers are about to leave, Mangal insists they stay and eat before leaving.
Later, Monisha is about to leave Adit’s house. Adit tells her she’s still not feeling well and asks her to stay. Monisha insists she is fine and says she is moving to the place Mangal suggested. While leaving, Monisha slips on some pebbles, and a photo falls from her bag. Kusum picks it up and recognizes Sudesh’s Chacha Kisan and Chachi as Monisha’s grandparents. Kusum recalls how Kisan ji helped them a lot and says to Monisha, “You’re Kisan’s granddaughter and Adit’s sister — you have come home.” Adit smirks, thinking how glad he is that his lie to Sowmya has now become reality and solved his problem. He asks Monisha to stay at their house since they are family. Kusum agrees and warmly invites Monisha to stay.
Monisha says all her hostel arrangements are done, but Kusum insists there’s no need to move to the hostel and that she should stay with them. Monisha smirks to herself, recalling how she stole the photo of Sudesh’s Chacha and Chachi and created a fake one with herself. Kusum tells Monisha to consider their house her home. Meanwhile, Adit thinks this gives him a chance to expose Kapil, as Monisha has just arrived here. Kapil grows suspicious whether Monisha is truly related to Kusum’s family or if she’s lying. Monisha, determined, thinks she can do anything to get Kapil.
Monisha then spots Kapil approaching, so she steps on a stool pretending to reach for her suitcase but deliberately falls. Kapil hears her shout and rushes to her aid. Adit watches them together and leaves to call Mangal. Kapil scolds Monisha for always being clumsy. Monisha replies that he is the one who always comes to her aid. Seeing her injury, Kapil fetches a first aid kit. Monisha thinks to herself, “I will make you remember our love, Kapil.” Meanwhile, Adit tricks Mangal and sends her to Monisha’s room. Mangal sees Kapil bandaging Monisha’s foot wound. Monisha thanks him, and Kapil helps her stand up. Mangal watches them together, shocked, and accidentally drops her phone. Adit, pleased that Mangal witnessed everything, thinks it’s the perfect opportunity for Mangal to oust Kapil. He leaves.
Kapil asks Mangal not to misunderstand the situation. Monisha insists she simply fell and Kapil helped her. Kapil tries to explain, but Mangal runs away. Kapil follows her. Meanwhile, Monisha thinks, “Kapil will come back to me.”
Mangal recalls how Adit had cheated on her in the past as Kapil approaches her and tries to explain what happened. Mangal says, “I trust you, and I know you went to help Monisha, but I recalled how Adit betrayed me with Sowmya in the past when I saw you with Monisha. I know you are an honest person, and I can’t even think of doubting you, but I’m scared because of everything that has happened in my life. My fear is that I don’t want to face another betrayal, as I can’t handle it.” Kapil thinks about telling her his past before their marriage.
