The episode begins with Umesh asking Lakshmi to break a coconut before performing the Ganesh Sthapana pooja. Lakshmi breaks the coconut, but it burns her hand. Jia smirks, recalling how she had spiked the coconut. Karthik quickly applies cream to Lakshmi’s hand, while both wonder how her hand got burnt. Gayatri says since Lakshmi’s hand is injured, the pooja should continue. Sanjana insists the pooja is for the baby, so it should be done by Karthik and Lakshmi together. However, Karthik says he will perform it alone. Jia interrupts, claiming she will join him as she is carrying his baby. Karthik firmly refuses, saying that right only belongs to his wife, Lakshmi. Gayatri scolds Jia/Imarti for even thinking of doing the aarti with Karthik. She then declares she will perform the aarti herself as the baby’s grandmother, and together with Sudesh, she completes it.
Later, Karthik feeds prasad to Lakshmi, leaving Jia feeling insecure. Sanjana and Gayatri once again try to see Imarti’s face. To avoid exposure, Jia deliberately falls into a Kumkum plate, covering her face. She cries out that her eyes are burning. Lakshmi notices a thread stuck in her ghoonghat. Jia accuses someone of trying to uncover her face and not letting her live peacefully. Gayatri reveals Sanjana attempted it. Sanjana admits she did it out of curiosity. Lakshmi and Karthik warn everyone not to break Imarti’s mannat. Lakshmi then sends Imarti to her room.
The next day, Lakshmi takes food to Imarti’s room but finds it empty. While cleaning, she discovers thorns in the dustbin and recalls how they had earlier hurt her and Karthik. She wonders how they ended up in Imarti’s room but dismisses the thought. Just then, Karthik arrives and reminds her that it’s the day of their baby’s first sonography. Excited, he asks Lakshmi to accompany Imarti to the hospital while he joins them directly from his recording.
Meanwhile, Jia mixes something into Lakshmi’s tea and sends it through a worker. Lakshmi drinks it happily but soon feels dizzy and collapses unconscious. Jia watches with satisfaction, thinking she should sleep like this. At the clinic, Karthik waits for Lakshmi and tries calling her, but she doesn’t answer. Instead, Jia/Imarti calls him, crying for help and sharing her location. Karthik rushes there, where Jia hugs him and says Lakshmi was sleeping, so she left for the hospital as she was feeling stomach pain. She adds that an auto driver misbehaved with her, but she escaped and called him. Karthik consoles her, assuring he will take her to the hospital, though he wonders why Lakshmi hasn’t answered his calls since she never sleeps at this time.
Back home, a rat topples a pot of water, and as it flows near Lakshmi, she regains consciousness. Realizing it’s 3 o’clock, she notices Karthik’s multiple missed calls. She tries calling Imarti, but the guard informs her that Imarti has already left for the clinic in an auto. Lakshmi worries, wondering why she went alone.
