The episode begins with Pratima submitting documents to the Inspector, stating that Kusum has signed the bail papers and withdrawn her statement. She requests the Inspector to release Kapil. Meanwhile, Sowmya’s hired man calls Kusum, pretending to be from the police station. He tells her that Kapil got bail because she withdrew her statement by signing the bail papers, and now they need one more signature. Shocked, Kusum says she never took back her statement and wonders how this happened.
Mangal notices Kusum’s distress and asks her what’s wrong. Before Kusum can respond, Sowmya arrives and taunts that Mangal stayed here to get Kapil released, not for Adit. She claims Kapil is out on bail because of Mangal. Mangal denies having any involvement. Sowmya then questions Kusum about signing the papers that suggest she retracted her confession. Kusum insists she didn’t. Sowmya shows her the papers and asks if she recently signed anything. Kusum recalls signing only the “Pehla Swad Ladies Ganesh Donation” papers. Sowmya accuses Mangal of tricking her by disguising the bail papers as donation forms.
Kusum, feeling betrayed, questions Mangal and says she has lost her trust. Mangal defends herself but finally decides to leave, saying she won’t stay where she is seen as a deceiver. Adit sees this and stops Mangal. He angrily questions Kusum and Sowmya about driving his friend away, and in frustration, throws a glass at Kusum. Mangal steps in to protect her and gets hurt instead.
Kapil is released, and Pratima is overjoyed. Kapil asks if Mangal helped in securing his bail. On the other side, Adit apologizes to Mangal. She advises him not to hurt anyone, saying it isn’t right. Adit refuses to stay without her and insists she remain by his side. Sowmya warns Mangal not to forget that the case is still ongoing.
Later, Adit tends to Mangal’s wound. Despite her saying it’s minor, he feels bad and applies cream on her cut. He asks her to call him simply “Adit” instead of “Adit Ji.” She agrees. While thinking about when Kusum actually signed the papers, Adit shows Mangal some chocolates. Curious, she asks where he got them. Adit innocently says Sowmya gave them to him in exchange for keeping quiet about how she tricked a Pehla Swad worker into getting Kusum’s signature. Mangal realizes the truth.
Afterward, Adit shares his plan with Akshat to teach Sowmya a lesson for troubling Mangal. Akshat agrees to support him.
Meanwhile, Mangal confronts Pratima, accusing her of involving Sowmya and tricking Kusum into signing the papers. Pratima defends herself, saying Mangal is just unhappy that Kapil got bail. She warns Mangal not to blame her. Mangal insists that seeking Sowmya’s help was a mistake, as now Sowmya will shift all the blame onto Kapil. Just then, Kapil enters and calls out Mangal’s name.
