The episode starts with Pratima telling Kapil that maybe Bua Dadi didn’t like Akshat. Kapil asks if Bua Dadi doesn’t know that Akshat is Mangal’s son. Pratima says no. Kapil then asks if Bua Dadi knows that Mangal is divorced with two kids. Pratima says no. Kapil says he will tell her himself. Pratima stops him and says, “Let me handle it myself. I will reveal it at the right time.” Kapil receives a call and steps aside. Pratima thinks to herself, I need to do something before this situation goes out of my hands.
Mangal arranges clothes in the cupboard. Suddenly, someone ties her eyes and brings her to the hall. Mangal’s blindfold is removed, and she is surprised to see the decorations. Mangal asks why the arrangements were made. Shanti and Ishana say it’s a bachelorette party surprise. Mangal asks Kusum why she needed to arrange it. Lipika enters wearing a Kapil mask and teases Mangal. Adit sees this. Sowmya notices how Adit is staring at Mangal. Kusum gives Mangal a saree and asks her to get ready. Mangal says, “This party is enough, why do I need a saree?” Kusum insists. Mangal gets emotional and hugs her.
A guest tells Kusum that she will be the first Saas to personally send off her daughter-in-law during the Vidai. Kusum says, “Mangal is my daughter, and I don’t want any compromise in her marriage. I will make everything grand.” Mangal gets teary-eyed. Lipika, still wearing the Kapil mask, tells Mangal she can’t bear to see her in tears and asks her to get ready, saying, “You look good.” Mangal asks her to stop. Sowmya taunts Mangal. Adit leaves. Sowmya thinks, Why did Adit get upset when I taunted Mangal? Ishana sends Mangal to get ready.
At the dining table, Bua Dadi tells Kapil that Bijli will come to the office to take care of him. Kapil says Mangal is at the office and will take care of him. Bua Dadi says that Mangal will be busy with her work, and since Kapil isn’t taking proper care of himself, she is sending Bijli. She asks him not to argue. Kapil agrees and asks his mother for his file. She takes him to his room to give it to him. Bijli asks Bua Dadi what she should do at the office. Bua Dadi asks Bijli to spy on Mangal and report the minute-to-minute happenings to her. Bijli agrees.
Mangal gets ready in the saree and comes out of her room. She hears a sound from Adit’s room and goes to check, asking if he’s searching for something. Adit is mesmerized seeing her. Mangal asks again, and he says he is searching for the charger. Mangal helps him find it. Adit stares at her lovingly. He mentions that his black diary is also missing. Mangal searches for it. Adit admires her. She finds the diary and shows it to him, smiling. Adit asks what’s happening. Mangal points out that he wore his kurta in reverse. He explains, “Amma asked me to try it as she took it for Navratri.” They both smile happily. Adit takes a tissue to wipe her happy tears, and Mangal says she will do it herself. Sowmya, who comes there, sees this. Mangal takes the tissue, and Sowmya confronts them. Mangal leaves. Sowmya asks Adit why he’s smiling with Mangal. Adit says, “I wore the kurta in reverse. Stop being negative,” and leaves. Sowmya thinks, I know how you’re finding ways to spend time with Mangal, and I won’t let it happen.
Mangal enters the bachelorette party and enjoys it with her loved ones. Sowmya thinks, Mangal can’t be happy in her marriage; I will create problems. She spoils the Suhagan thali that Kusum arranged for Mangal. Someone sees her mischief. Sowmya plots to destroy Mangal’s happiness. Mangal happily dances to the “Desi Girl” song with family members and kids. Adit arrives and smiles. Mangal smiles less upon seeing him. Akshat brings Adit closer to Mangal.
