The episode begins with Jhanak thankingSakhi for not telling the truth to anyone. She says Rishi is going to marry Aditi, so she doesn’t want villagers to disturb Rishi. Sakhi asks how Rishi can marry Aditi. Jhanak says her marriage with Rishi was a forced one. Sakhi gets worried about Jhanak’s future. She compares Jhanak’s life with Nutan’s life. Jhanak says she won’t repeat Nutan’s mistake. And she will achieve something in her career. She defends Rishi’s actions. Sakhi feels bad that she can’t do anything for Jhanak.
The next day, Indumati tells Dadabhai that he did not get ready yet. Dadabhai asks whether he should come. Neelu tells him that it’s Rishi and Aditi’s marriage. Dadabhai says he is not feeling well. Payal tells him that it’s a special day for Rishi and Aditi. Abhimanyu asks how Dadabhai can miss Rishi’s marriage. Tanushri tells Dadabhai that he is the elder of the family, so it’s important for him to attend the marriage. Indumati says they should arrive on time. Dadabhai agrees to go with them.
Rishi comes downstairs. He tells them this is a registered marriage, so why did the ladies get ready over the top? Kaju and Badam call Rishi the groom. Rishi asks them why they are calling him “groom.” Badam says Rishi is the groom only, and he understood it. Rishi notices Badam talked like Jhanak. He goes inside to talk on a phone call.
Neelu asks Putul to change any other expensive saree. Putul refuses. They get into an argument. Abhimanyu asks them to stop it. Rishi returns. He gets angry when Kaju and Badam call him the groom. The guest asks why Rishi is getting angry. She asks about Jhanak. Indumati replies that Jhanak went to her village for exams and won’t return ever. The guest asks whether Jhanak applies vermilion in Rishi’s name. Tanushri says that doesn’t matter because Rishi was forced to marry Jhanak. And Rishi never accepted that marriage and Jhanak as a wife.
In the Simulboni, the doctor says medicines are not working, so they should admit Jhanak to a city hospital for better treatment. Parashar says he should talk to Jhanak’s in-laws. The doctor asks him where Jhanak’s husband is. Parashar replies Rishi is in Kolkata. The doctor tells him to inform Rishi first and arrange an ambulance.
On the other side, Aditi comes downstairs and sees Rishi talking to his colleague. The police officer asks Rishi about Jhanak. Rishi replies that Jhanak went to her village for exams. He says he caused Jhanak’s accident, and she could not meet her mother one last time, so he took Jhanak to her village. And he can’t forgive himself if anything happens to Jhanak then. Meanwhile, Jhanak recalls the moments she spent with Rishi and cries.
