The episode starts with the Pandit suggesting to Dadi not to force Mangal to perform the pooja unwillingly, and then he leaves. Kapil comes home and questions why Mangal is wet and why the Pandit was there. Mangal manages the situation, and Kapil goes to freshen up. Bua Dadi remarks that it is inauspicious that the Suddhikaran didn’t happen and its effects will be seen after Mangal and Kapil’s marriage. Mangal looks on, worried.
Later, Mangal packs a suitcase while recalling Bua Dadi’s words. While packing, she finds a box with red bangles and remembers how Kusum gave them to her after her marriage with Adit, saying she trusted Mangal to take care of relationships. Just then, Akshat throws a snake to scare her. Startled, Mangal drops the bangles, breaking them. Adit arrives and accidentally steps on the broken pieces, shattering them further. Kusum enters with a saree and reminds Mangal that she was the one who gave her those bangles. Mangal asks Akshat to go outside, saying she will clean it up. Adit tells his mother that just like the broken bangles, his relationship with Mangal is beyond repair.
Meanwhile, Pratima asks Chinta Bua if she is choosing sarees for her. Chinta Bua says they are for Mangal. Pratima suggests selecting bright colors instead of dull ones. Chinta Bua taunts that since they chose a mother of two children as their bahu, she is picking sarees accordingly. Ignoring Pratima, she says she needs to speak to Pupa Ji and leaves.
In the kitchen, Mangal prepares breakfast when Lipika arrives to meet her sister. She gives Mangal the prashad sent by their mother. Lipika notices oil leaking from a container, wipes it with a tissue roll, and carelessly places the roll near the stove. She then goes to give prashad to the kids. The tissue roll falls onto the stove and catches fire while Mangal is frying pooris. Shocked to see the fire, Mangal panics and shouts for help. Unable to think clearly, she grabs water from the fridge and pours it on the fire, but it only spreads further.
Adit hears her cries and rushes to the kitchen, only to find flames spreading rapidly. He calls out for Mangal and asks if she is safe. Kusum and Sudesh stop him, warning not to go inside, but Adit insists he heard Mangal’s voice. He runs into the kitchen and finds Mangal unconscious on the floor. Sudesh says she will call the fire brigade, worried as both kids are inside the house. Adit rescues Mangal and brings her to the hall. Kusum scolds him for risking his life, but Adit replies that he could never forgive himself if he hadn’t saved her. Just then, Chinta Bua and Pratima arrive and witness the scene. Chinta Bua sarcastically asks Pratima if she brought her here to give a wedding invitation or to show her Mangal’s antics. The fire brigade arrives and begins their work.
Lipika feels anxious for Mangal’s well-being. Chinta Bua remarks to Pratima that Lipika is young and beautiful, while Kusum invites Pratima and Dadi inside. Everyone tries to wake Mangal; at first, she doesn’t respond, but later regains consciousness. Relieved, Kusum gives her water and asks if she is fine. Mangal nods.
Seeing Bua Dadi and Pratima there, Mangal asks why they came. Chinta Bua says they came to deliver the marriage invitation but instead witnessed a fire breakout. Kusum apologizes, explaining it all happened suddenly. She then asks Mangal to change her saree and return, as they still need to discuss the auspicious ceremony. Meanwhile, Chinta Bua secretly thinks that Adit still worries too much for Mangal even after their divorce, and something is definitely brewing between them.
