The episode starts with Jia requesting the Inspector to let her go, but they don’t listen and take her to the police station in their jeep. Karthik comes out after completing his song recording. He reads Jia’s message asking him to come to the police station and rushes there immediately. Jia tells him that she has been arrested and reminds him that it is against their deal. She threatens that she will not carry the baby anymore and will abort it. She warns him that if he wants to save the baby, he must get her released from jail. She then pretends to feel nauseous. Karthik pleads with the Inspector to release Jia. The Inspector says that since his wife filed an FIR against Jia, she must take back the case. Karthik is shocked.
Karthik returns home and confronts Lakshmi, asking why she had Jia arrested and what if Jia aborts the baby. Lakshmi replies that Jia is not pregnant with their baby. Karthik insists that he saw proof in the sonography and cannot believe her. Lakshmi tells him that Jia is manipulating his feelings. Karthik argues, accusing Lakshmi of being stubborn and risking their child’s life. Lakshmi firmly says nothing will happen because there is no baby. Karthik warns her that if something happens to the baby, their relationship will be destroyed. Lakshmi refuses to bail Jia out and says she is ready to bear his anger but will not take back the case.
The next day, Karthik tells Lakshmi that it is Jia’s court hearing and since she is carrying their baby, he will do anything to save her, as Lakshmi refuses to withdraw the complaint. Lakshmi urges him to trust her, saying Jia is playing with his emotions, but Karthik refuses to listen and leaves. Lakshmi feels uneasy and wonders why Karthik is not trusting her. Meanwhile, at the jail, Jia thinks to herself that today she will succeed in breaking Karthik and Lakshmi’s relationship. The constable asks Jia to eat, reminding her that it is her hearing day.
Jia secretly consumes poison and suddenly starts vomiting foam. Everyone gets worried. The police call Karthik and inform him that Jia has consumed poison and is being rushed to the city hospital. Karthik is shocked and rushes there, praying to God to save the baby. At the hospital, he anxiously asks the nurse about Jia’s condition. The nurse replies that the doctors are trying to save her. Lakshmi also arrives at the hospital, but Karthik blames her for everything. The doctor comes out and informs Karthik that Jia has been saved but has suffered a miscarriage, and they could not save the baby. Karthik is devastated. Lakshmi insists that Jia was never pregnant and is only staging a miscarriage drama, but Karthik refuses to believe her.
While leaving, Karthik tells Lakshmi not to follow him as their relationship is over. He walks away lifelessly on the road. Lakshmi runs behind, begging him to listen and repeating that Jia was never pregnant. Karthik angrily tells her to leave as he doesn’t want to see her face. When Karthik almost meets with an accident, Lakshmi saves him. Instead of thanking her, Karthik blames Lakshmi for their baby’s death. He refuses to believe her words, declares that their relationship has ended, and says he hates her and never wants to see her face again.
Lakshmi tells Karthik that it was all Jia’s plan to separate them, but he doesn’t believe her and leaves. Lakshmi wonders how she can prove to Karthik that Jia was never pregnant and had made him believe a lie. She collapses on the road.
At the hospital, Jia thinks that Karthik fell in love with a baby that never existed. She believes that he is now depressed over losing the baby and will leave Lakshmi. She vows that if she cannot have Karthik, she will not let Lakshmi keep him.
Family members ask Karthik to open the door and explain why he has locked himself in the room. Lakshmi arrives home, and Gayatri confronts her, asking why Karthik is in distress and what has happened as Karthik is not opening the door and not even talking to us. Lakshmi walks inside lifelessly. Umesh suspects seems like while leaving Jia created a big misunderstanding between Lakshmi and Karthik. Karthik cries hugging toys in his room. Lakshmi also cries in the other room.
