The episode begins with Khushi arriving home in a state of panic, informing her stepmother Mamta and her younger sister Sweety that Rajkumar has been admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. The shocking news leaves both Mamta and Sweety visibly devastated. Khushi explains that the hospital has demanded one lakh rupees immediately for Rajkumar’s treatment. Hearing this, Mamta expresses her disappointment and helplessness, lamenting over their poor financial condition. However, as soon as Khushi leaves the house, Mamta’s true intentions come to light—she hurriedly hides all her money and jewelry in a secret place so that Khushi cannot ask her to contribute toward Rajkumar’s medical expenses.
Meanwhile, at another place, Nandita is diagnosed with high blood sugar levels during her routine checkup. The doctor, surprised by her worsening condition, questions the family about her diet, asking if she has been consuming sugar despite his earlier instructions. Everyone, including Aradhana, assures him that Nandita has been strictly following the diet and only consumes sugar-free tablets. However, when Aradhana mentions the name of the tablets, the doctor insists on examining them.
Later, the doctor secretly meets Baldev and reveals a shocking truth—the tablets Nandita has been taking are not sugar-free at all. They contain real sugar, which could have endangered her life. He further informs Baldev that someone deliberately replaced the original tablets with these fake ones, clearly intending to harm Mamta. This revelation leaves Baldev deeply disturbed and suspicious.
Back at home, when Khushi returns, Mamta pretends to be disheartened by the news of Rajkumar’s illness. Khushi, desperate to arrange money for the treatment, pleads with Mamta to give her the family jewelry so that she can sell it. Mamta lies coldly, claiming she had already sold the jewelry long ago to pay for Sweety’s computer course. Heartbroken yet determined, Khushi vows that she will somehow manage to arrange the required money to save her father’s life. Once Khushi leaves, Mamta takes out the hidden money again and locks it safely in the almirah. Sweety, noticing her mother’s hypocrisy, feels disappointed but remains silent, believing her mother’s actions are ultimately for her own good.
On the other hand, Baldev questions DJ about why he provided Mamta with the fake, harmful tablets. DJ immediately acts innocent and emotional, insisting that he had no idea about the replacement. He claims the tablets were supplied by a friend and that he never intended to harm anyone. Though DJ manages to convince most people with his emotional act, Baldev remains suspicious and unsettled.
In a desperate attempt to gather funds, Khushi visits several customers and acquaintances, pleading for help, but no one is willing to lend her even a single rupee. She returns home hopeless, unable to think of a way out. Meanwhile, Krishna visits the lawyer who has been handling Rajkumar’s case. Initially, the lawyer refuses to let him in, but Krishna insists and hands over the required one lakh rupees, requesting him to use it for Rajkumar’s treatment without revealing his name to Khushi. Unaware of Krishna’s sacrifice, Khushi continues to struggle, unaware that someone is silently working behind the scenes to save her father’s life.
