The episode starts with Damini on a call, telling Kajal that she will soon be out on parole. Bindi takes the phone and happily tells Kajal that Lawyer Damini Aunty said she can celebrate Diwali with them this year as she will get parole. Bindi asks Saurav to talk to Kajal. Kajal asks if he really thinks she’ll get parole. Saurav assures her that she will. Mandira overhears the conversation about Kajal’s parole and looks worried.
Meanwhile, Dayanand slaps Aviraj for not informing him that Kajal’s brother met her and that she might be released on parole. He scolds Aviraj for failing to find the evidence chip against him and accuses him of betrayal. Aviraj remains silent. Dayanand warns him not to betray him. Aviraj gets angry, but controls himself and says that Dayanand brought him from the streets and is helping his mother with her hospital treatment, so he has full rights over him. Dayanand says he was hurt after hearing these things from Mandira. Aviraj says he wanted to handle the matter but feels Dayanand doesn’t trust him. Dayanand assures him that he trusts him more than himself. Aviraj replies that he may be like a street dog, but no one should question his loyalty. Dayanand hugs him, but Aviraj thinks to himself that Dayanand no longer truly trusts him and is just pretending.
Kajal later sees Mandira in her cell and asks what she is doing there. Mandira says she is now Kajal’s new cellmate and warns her not to dream about getting parole. She tries to attack Kajal with a knife, but Kajal resists. Other inmates ask Mandira to stop. The jailor arrives just in time and saves Kajal, sending Mandira to the solitary cell (kalkothri). The constable tells Kajal that the jailor suspected Mandira’s application and received a tip-off, which helped her reach on time.
Bubblu teases Aviraj for giving the tip to the jailor and says he still loves Kajal. Aviraj angrily asks him to shut up. Bubblu says he can still see the love in his eyes and leaves. Aviraj warns him not to tease him again and orders him to find Bindi’s father using her sketch. When Bubblu jokes about Aviraj’s drawing skills, Aviraj glares at him. He then says that he informed the jailor only to gain Dayanand’s trust, not because of Kajal.
Later that night, Aviraj meets Kajal in jail with special permission. Kajal asks what he’s doing there. Aviraj says that during the day he has to act carefully, but at night he can speak from his heart. Kajal reminds him that she’s in jail for something she didn’t do and tries to leave. Aviraj stops her and, in his heart, says that because of her, Dayanand no longer trusts him—and she will have to pay for it.
Episode ends.
Precap: Kajal arrives at court, where reporters question her. Dayanand, in the witness stand, tells the judge that Pallavi would never want her killer to be released from jail.
