The episode starts with Kajal asking Aviraj why he closed the door. Aviraj says he came to tell her that she ruined his life. Kajal reminds him that she is in jail, not him. Aviraj says that for the first time, Dayanand is doubting him because of her, and demands to know what secret she’s hiding. Kajal taunts him, asking if he has come again as Dayanand’s “chamchi.” Aviraj replies that he is like Dayanand’s brother and warns her not to tell anyone that Dayanand framed her in Pallavi’s murder case and that he actually killed his wife. He again asks Kajal what she’s hiding. Kajal says nothing. Aviraj doesn’t believe her and keeps pressuring her to reveal the secret. Kajal shouts for help. Aviraj insists he needs an answer. Kajal angrily says he has no right to order her, as he lost his husbandly rights long ago.
Hearing her screams, a constable comes and asks what’s happening. Aviraj leaves. Kajal, in tears, hugs the constable. The constable asks if he did anything to her and why he keeps coming to meet her. Kajal says she doesn’t know why he keeps visiting. The constable asks if she should file a complaint against him with her superiors. Kajal says no, explaining that tomorrow is her parole hearing and she doesn’t want any complaint to disrupt it.
Saurav and Damini discuss Kajal’s case. Sudha serves them tea and overhears Saurav telling Damini that he trusts her. Inspired, Sudha decides to wear modern clothes. Bindi comes and says she will also go to court. Saurav tells her it’s a matter for elders and asks her to go to school. Damini comforts Bindi, saying she will make sure Kajal celebrates Diwali with her. Bindi looks on emotionally. Meanwhile, Dayanand thinks he must do something to silence Kajal and her family.
The police bring Kajal to court. The media surrounds her, asking why she killed social worker Dayanand’s wife and if she thinks she’ll get parole today. Bindi and Shubham watch from a distance. Damini disperses the media and takes Kajal inside. Shubham asks Bindi why they are hiding. Bindi says Mama told her not to come, but she wanted to support her mother. She adds that she’s praying to God to save her mom.
Damini advises Kajal to stay calm in court, even if Dayanand’s lawyer tries to provoke her. Kajal agrees and goes inside. Saurav arrives and asks Damini why there’s so much media presence. Damini replies it’s because the case is connected to Dayanand. She says Kajal is already inside, and they go in together.
In court, the judge asks the lawyers to begin the proceedings. Damini submits parole documents requesting Kajal’s release on bail. Dayanand arrives, and everyone stands. He politely asks everyone to sit, saying they must respect the judge. Judge orders everyone to sit. Dayanand glares at Kajal, trying to intimidate her into silence.
Outside, Bindi prays to Lord Krishna, saying she will complete 108 parikramas if her mother is saved. She begins her prayer ritual.
Damini submits Kajal’s record of good behavior in jail for ten years. Dayanand worries that Kajal’s release will harm his public image. The judge reviews the papers and asks the prosecutor if he has any questions. The prosecutor says he wants to question Dayanand about his wife’s death. Dayanand addresses the court, saying that while everyone deserves a chance to redeem their mistakes, his wife would never want her killer to walk free, so Kajal should not be granted parole.
