The episode opens with a shocking moment when Khushi slaps her younger sister, Sweety, after discovering her reckless behavior. Sweety had lied to their mother, Mamta, and gone out to meet three male friends. What she thought would be a casual party soon turned uncomfortable when those boys tried to take advantage of her. Furious and protective, Khushi couldn’t hold back her anger. As a caring elder sister, she felt it was her right to scold Sweety for putting herself in danger. However, Mamta fails to understand Khushi’s concern and immediately takes Sweety’s side.
When Sweety returns home, she manipulates the situation by lying to her mother, claiming Khushi hit her out of jealousy. Hearing this, Mamta’s anger flares up. She accuses Khushi of trying to compete with her own sister and humiliates her in front of everyone. Mamta firmly believes that her younger daughter, Sweety, is innocent and can never commit a mistake. She warns Khushi never to raise her hand on Sweety again and commands her to stay away from her. The harsh words deeply wound Khushi, who only intended to protect her sister from harm.
Meanwhile, their father, Rajkumar, witnesses the growing tension at home. Concerned about Khushi’s well-being, he suggests that she move into a girls’ hostel where she could focus on building a better future. But Khushi refuses his suggestion. She loves her father dearly and is determined to stay with him, no matter how difficult her life becomes. Her sense of duty and affection toward her father keeps her rooted at home despite constant humiliation from her stepmother and sister.
Elsewhere, Krishna is troubled by guilt and fear. He knows Khushi has suffered because of his actions, and the thought weighs heavily on his heart. Desperate to earn money, he plans to use a police uniform in a dishonest way to make quick cash. However, he also fears that Khushi might lodge a complaint against him, which would ruin all his plans.
In another household, Baldev calls his lawyer home, which immediately excites his son and daughter. They mistakenly assume that their father is preparing to divide his property among them.
Back in Khushi’s home, her troubles continue. Sweety once again insults her for interfering in her personal life. Khushi advises her to work hard and earn money in a respectable way rather than chasing shortcuts to wealth. But Sweety refuses to listen and mocks her sister. Mamta once again humiliates Khushi and commands her to maintain distance from her daughter.
Later, Khushi visits the municipal chairman, pleading with him to accept a saree that she had accidentally spoiled, as the poor woman urgently needs the money. Meanwhile, Krishna arrives in the area to find work but is asked to give a false statement against Baldev to earn money. Krishna refuses to frame an honest man. Just then, Khushi confronts him and demands one lakh in compensation, but Krishna confesses he has nothing to give her.
