The episode starts with Mangal learning that Neel is her son and Ishana is Sunita’s daughter. Neel demands that Adit pay him money for his cycle repair. Adit warns Neel to stay away from his kids, otherwise he will file a police complaint. He tells Neel to remember his warning and leaves in his car. Mangal is seen walking aimlessly on the highway.
Adit saves Mangal just in time and asks why she is walking lost on the road. Mangal tells Adit that Sunita said Ishana is not their daughter. She explains everything that happened at the hospital and how she discovered that Ishana isn’t their child. Adit asks Mangal not to believe such stories and to stop crying over a lie. Mangal breaks down in tears. Adit asks her to control herself as everyone is watching and says they will talk at home.
Mangal and Adit return home. Shanti asks Mangal why she took so long to come back. Mangal remains silent. Ishana tells Mangal that she prepared parathas and completed all the household chores. Shanti praises Ishana, saying she has become her mother’s shadow and learned everything from her. Mangal hugs Ishana in tears, saying “my daughter.” Ishana asks if Mangal is okay. Adit decides to clear Mangal’s confusion.
Adit goes to the hospital where Mangal delivered her baby and demands to see the 16-year-old records. The hospital staff refuse, saying he needs permission to access them. Adit feels frustrated. Meanwhile, Neel comes to the hospital to check on his mother Sunita. As Adit is about to leave, Pushpa stops him and says she will take him to the records room. She also reveals that she was the one who told Mangal the truth. Adit angrily says, “So you are the one who confused Mangal?”
Mangal sees Ishana accidentally hurt herself with a knife and tends to her wound. She then feeds food to Ishana. Shanti comments on Mangal’s deep love. Mangal says she will never let Ishana leave her. Ishana asks about Adit, but Mangal says she doesn’t know.
In the records room, Adit searches for the 2009 files. He finds the November records and comes across Mangal’s delivery report, leaving him shocked.
Mangal calls the city hospital to ask if Adit came there. She learns something on the call and is left stunned. Meanwhile, Neel meets the doctor, who tells him that his mother is still in a coma and not yet recovered. The doctor adds that if Neel cannot arrange money within a day, they will shift her to the general ward. Neel says he has no money and leaves. A nurse notices Neel’s injury and offers to bandage it, but he refuses.
Mangal arrives at the hospital searching for Adit. Seeing Neel’s injury, she insists on bandaging it herself and tells him not to remove it or wet it with water. Neel thanks her. Just then, Adit arrives, calling out for Mangal, holding a file in his hand.
