The episode starts with Neel opening the door after hearing a knock. Neel asks who she is. Sowmya says, “I’m your choti mom.” Neel replies, “I have only one mother, who is in a coma. I don’t understand why Mangal is being affectionate toward me or why you’re calling yourself my choti mom.” Sowmya says, “I’m your father’s second wife.” Neel says, “You must have come to the wrong house.” Sowmya insists, “No, I’ve come to the right place — to your real parents’ house.” Neel says, “Don’t irritate me. I’m already worried about arranging money for my mother’s treatment.” Sowmya then says, “Your real parents are Adit and Mangal. You were swapped 16 years ago, and I’m your father’s second wife.”
On the way, Shanti worries about Lipika. Ishana consoles her. Adit messages Mangal asking if she told the truth to Ishana. Mangal thinks it’s not the right time to tell her, as Ishana is already worried about Lipika. She decides to tell her the truth once they reach Delhi.
Neel doesn’t believe Sowmya’s words. Sowmya says, “Your mother met with an accident while revealing the truth to Mangal. Believe me — you’re the heir of the Saxena family. Come with me to Delhi.” Neel refuses to believe her and throws her out.
Mangal and the kids wait at the hospital. They see Lipika regain consciousness. Shanti scolds Lipika for her carelessness, but Mangal asks her not to say anything right now. Sowmya and Kusum arrive at the same hospital. Kusum asks Sowmya where she was the whole day yesterday. Sowmya lies, saying she went to the temple and that there’s no need for a hospital visit. Kusum says, “I want assurance from the doctor that you and the baby are fine, so let’s get a checkup today.”
Mangal comes out of Lipika’s room to attend Adit’s call. She doesn’t see Sowmya and Kusum. Adit asks Mangal if she told Ishana the truth. Mangal says no and asks about Neel. Adit says, “I’m not in Mussoorie right now.” Mangal becomes worried for Neel. A nurse comes and asks Mangal to collect Lipika’s reports. Mangal ends the call and goes to get them. The nurse accidentally gives Mangal Sowmya’s report, then quickly stops her and exchanges the files.
Meanwhile, Kusum searches for Sowmya. She sees Mangal from behind and mistakes her for Sowmya, as both are wearing similar sarees. From behind, Kusum says, “Why are you going that way? Let’s go home.” Mangal feels happy to see Kusum and touches her feet for blessings. The nurse congratulates Kusum, saying, “When will you distribute sweets for your second grandson’s arrival?” Mangal is stunned and thinks, Did Adit tell her about Neel? She tries to speak, but just then, Sowmya arrives. Mangal sees pregnant Sowmya and is shocked. Sowmya asks when Mangal returned from Mussoorie. Mangal asks Kusum how her father is doing. Kusum leaves with Sowmya.
Pushpa calls Mangal and tells her that Neel is missing from home, and even his friends don’t know where he went. Mangal becomes worried. Ishana asks Mangal why she’s so concerned about Neel and tells her not to worry, as he means nothing to them. Mangal tries to reveal the truth about Neel, but Shanti interrupts, saying Lipika is calling her inside. Mangal goes in to give the file.
Sowmya tells Adit that Mangal has arrived in Delhi. Adit gets anxious, thinking Mangal might have learned about Sowmya’s pregnancy. He worries how his children will react when they find out. Just then, the doorbell rings. Adit opens the door and sees Mangal. Sowmya and Adit invite her in. Mangal says, “Amma forgot her bag at the hospital, so I came to return it.” She gives them the bag and steps inside.
Meanwhile, Neel arrives at the Saxena house in a taxi. Mangal takes Sudesh’s blessings. Sudesh asks how the kids are. Mangal says they’re fine. Sowmya says, “Sudesh and Kusum are always worried about the kids.” Just then, Neel enters the house wearing muddy shoes. Adit angrily says, “Who are you to walk into my house with muddy shoes?” Neel removes his shoes and throws them, and the mud splashes onto Kusum. Kusum yells, “Who is this ill-mannered boy?” Neel removes his hoodie — Adit and Mangal are shocked to see him.

Precap: Ishana tries to stop Neel, but he pushes her away and asks her to stay away from his mother. Neel declares, “Mangal is my mother.”
