The episode starts with Mangal warning Neel to stay out of Ishana and Akshat’s room. Mangal firmly tells him that if he wants to live with them, he must behave properly; otherwise, he can leave the house. Neel argues, asking where he should sleep if they stay in that room. Later that night, Neel struggles to sleep in the hall. Feeling upset, he thinks, “Everyone is sleeping comfortably in their rooms, leaving me here in the hall. I’ll teach them a lesson.”
At midnight, Sowmya wakes up and notices that Neel is not on the sofa. She wonders where he has gone.
The next morning, Mangal is shocked to see water flooding the house. She realizes it’s coming from Ishana’s room. Mangal rushes in, wakes Ishana, and questions her about the water. Ishana, still half asleep, says she doesn’t know how it happened. Mangal asks her not to step down and quickly switches off the fuse to avoid any danger. She wonders who might have left the tap open in the washroom. Meanwhile, Neel smirks, recalling how he intentionally turned on the tap during the night.
Mangal enters the washroom and turns off the tap. On the other hand, Sowmya notices that there’s no water in her washroom and decides to use the kids’ bathroom instead. When she enters, she slips due to the water spread across the floor, but Adit arrives just in time and saves her from falling. Furious, Adit scolds Ishana for her carelessness and says, “What if something happened to my baby?” Ishana tries to explain that she didn’t open the tap and has no idea how it happened, but Adit refuses to listen.
Mangal comes out and tells him that nothing serious has happened, insisting that if Ishana says she didn’t do it, then she’s telling the truth. Ishana, hurt, says, “Dad won’t believe me because I’m not his biological daughter.” Adit feels guilty and asks her not to talk like that. Mangal then notices Neel’s wristband lying on the floor and immediately realizes who is responsible.
Mangal confronts Neel and asks him why he opened the tap in Ishana’s room and why he wants to trouble her intentionally. Neel pretends to be innocent. Mangal says, “I’ve seen what you’re capable of in Mussoorie. You opened the tap just to get Ishana scolded. Why are you doing this?” Neel mocks her, saying, “Your lectures are boring. Now I understand why my father married again.” Mangal angrily tells him to stop the drama and apologize to Ishana. Neel denies it again. Kusum intervenes, supporting Neel and asking Mangal to stop accusing him. Mangal insists that Kusum doesn’t truly know Neel. However, Kusum stands by her grandson, asks Neel to freshen up, and promises to make breakfast for him. Ishana leaves in tears.
Once everyone leaves, Mangal tells Kusum that Neel is in the wrong. Kusum replies, “Then change him like his mother would have, not like a daughter.” Mangal pleads with her to consider Ishana’s feelings too, but Kusum says, “By God’s grace, we got Neel back. I don’t want to lose him again.” Mangal becomes emotional.
Later, while cleaning the house, Mangal speaks to Shanti about the baby swap that happened sixteen years ago. Shanti blames Adit’s decision to have the delivery done in Mussoorie and says she’s worried for Ishana, calling Neel a spoiled child.
Meanwhile, Sowmya tells Kusum that she has prepared breakfast for Neel. Kusum feels pleased and asks her to take care of herself too. Sowmya then suggests celebrating Neel’s birthday. Kusum happily agrees and says she’ll talk to Adit.
Shanti advises Mangal not to let Ishana feel neglected now that they have their biological heir, Neel. Kusum later tells Adit that the next day is Neel’s birthday and insists on celebrating it. Mangal joins the conversation and reminds them that it’s also Ishana’s birthday. She suggests celebrating both together, and Adit agrees.
