The episode begins with Saanjbati telling Aditi that she wants to focus on today’s performance. Aditi says she felt bad for Saanjbati after hearing the past. And she feels there is a problem with this generation of men of the house. Saanjbati asks why Aditi feels like that about Rishi. Aditi says Saanjbati will understand later.
In the backstage, Teacher tells Jhanak to don’t get scared and perform well. The host asks the education minister to say a few words. The education minister takes the mic and says college reputation is in the dean’s, teachers’, and students’ hands. And she will supervise this college until she is in this city due to past actions. Dean thinks his name is getting ruined because of Jhanak.
Dev tells Aayush that the education minister is talking about Jhanak’s incident. Aayush tells Dev that Jhanak is not getting equal treatment from other students. But Jhanak decided to take the main dancer position to save the college’s reputation. Dev says Aayush’s face glows when he talks about Jhanak. Aayush says it’s not like that. Dev takes Aayush backstage.
The host calls Saanjbati to the stage to perform. Rishi sends all the best to Saanjbati. Saanjbati goes to the stage. Rishi sees Jhanak, who is ready to dance. He gets mesmerized (the song “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga” plays in the background). He wonders whether Jhanak is going to dance. Aditi sees him.
Saanjbati says she agreed to perform in the college because a few students are her fans and they requested her. She starts singing a song. Jhanak recalls the moments she spent with Nutan. Saanjbati’s mother feels her daughter’s voice has pain, and she has not forgotten Ridhiman yet. Everyone claps for Saanjbati. The host praises Saanjbati’s performance.
Mishti warns Jhanak to not make any mistake. The host calls Jhanak, Mishti, and Mishti’s friends to the stage. Jhanak goes to the stage. Rishi claps for Jhanak. Aditi gets upset seeing that. Arshi asks Aniruddh what Jhanak is doing there. Aniruddh asks her how he would know. Arshi tells him that Aditi is upset. Rishi thinks he has seen Jhanak dancing in the village, and he trusts she will show his talent to everyone today. Putul tells Dadabhai that she is excited.
Jhanak and her group start dancing to the Desh Rangila song. Saanjbati tells Rishi that the main dancer is dancing well. Aditi tells Saanjbati that the main dancer is copying others because someone else practiced for the main dancer position.
Putul records Jhanak’s dance. Dev teases Aayush for watching Jhanak only. Aayush asks Dev to stop it. Everyone claps for the dance performance. Aditi tells Rishi, “Let’s go home because Mishti’s dance performance is over.” Tanushri tells Aditi that debate competition results will be announced soon, so let’s wait. Aditi says she forgot that. And she is sure Mishti will win. Rishi hopes Jhanak wins.
The host calls the education minister to give an award to the debate competition winner. Priyanshi tells Mishti that the latter will win definitely. Mishti says it will be an insult for her if Jhanak wins then. Another student says Jhanak danced well even though she did not rehearse with them. Mishti says Jhanak saw their rehearsal, so it’s not a big deal. And she is excited to receive an award from the education minister for the debate competition.
Saanjbati praises Jhanak’s dance to Rishi. Rishi agrees with her. He tells her that Jhanak is from Simulboni and Jhanak got a seat in this college because of her hard work. Saanjbati says she wants to meet Jhanak. She asks him whether Jhanak worked in his house. Rishi nods at her. He asks her whether she knows anything else about Jhanak. Saanjbati shook her head. She asks him to tell more about Jhanak. Rishi replies he will tell her later. Aditi hears all this and gets annoyed.
Putul tells Dadabhai that she is sure Jhanak will get first prize. The host announces Jhanak as the first prize winner of the debate competition. Rishi and Saanjbati get happy hearing this. Putul and Dadabhai smile in happiness. Aditi and her parents get upset. Mishti glares at Jhanak. Jhanak thinks it would have been good if Nutan had been there then. She receives the award from the education minister and says it is the first time she is on such a big stage. And she is not able to believe she won an award. She says she is happy that she could express her opinions in front of them.
