In Zee TV’s Saru, love and rivalry take a dramatic turn as new challenges arise for Ved and Saru. After the wedding rituals, Saroja asks Ved to come along as it is time to return home. Just then, a villager stops them, reminding Ved of their age-old village tradition — when a man marries a woman from the village, he must carry his wife in his arms while entering their home. Hearing this, Ved fulfills the custom wholeheartedly, lifting Saru in his arms. The villagers cheer, and Saru feels emotional witnessing Ved’s affection and respect.
However, their happiness doesn’t last long. Tara, burning with jealousy and anger, shatters Ved and Saru’s wedding photo, unable to accept their union. She vows to separate them at any cost and destroy the peace in their relationship.
Just then, Anika arrives and, seeing Tara’s rage, decides to join her mission. She offers to help Tara in her plan to break Ved and Saru apart. With Tara and Anika joining forces, a new storm looms over Ved and Saru’s newly blossomed love.
