The episode starts with Ishana’s friends asking her to tell them about Mussoorie. Ishana seems lost in thought. Her friends ask what happened. Ishana replies that Mussoorie is good and she will send them the photos. Mangal notices that Ishana looks distracted. Adit asks Sowmya if she took all the reports, and she says yes. Kusum asks Adit to drop them at the temple since he is taking Sowmya to the hospital. Adit agrees.
Adit goes to Mangal and tells her that it looks like Ishana’s birthday party and asks her not to make Neel feel left out or like a guest. Mangal says Neel doesn’t have friends here, which is why he stays alone. Adit asks Mangal to take care of the kids and leaves.
Ishana’s friends tell her it’s strange that she and Neel share the same birthday. Mangal asks Ishana and Neel to call her if they need anything, then goes to her room with Akshat. Akshat asks Mangal to dance, and they start dancing to a song. Ishana enjoys with her friends. Neel calls his friends and asks if they’ve arrived. When they say yes, he tells them to come inside and locks Mangal’s room door from outside. Neel’s friends arrive from Mussoorie and create a scene with loud dhol beats. Ishana is shocked by their noisy entry. Ishana’s friends ask her to tell her cousin to stop behaving like roadside people. Ishana asks Neel to stop the weird music. Neel’s friends ask if he called them only to insult them. Neel says no, and tells them he’ll show them Ishana’s dance. Ishana angrily asks why she should dance. Neel’s friends say they’ll leave only after seeing her dance. Ishana warns Neel to stop making her and her friends uncomfortable and to end his goondagiri.
Mangal tells Akshat to stop the music, saying she has a headache. He agrees and turns off the music.
Neel tells Ishana to dance to the song he chooses. Ishana asks how dare he talk to her like that. Neel walks up to her and blackmails her, saying, “Dance, or I’ll tell your friends that I’m Adit and Mangal’s son and you’re not related to my parents. If you want to save your image, then dance.” He plays the Beedi Jalaile song. Mangal hears the song and wonders who’s playing such music. She tries to come out, but the door is locked. She bangs on it, trying to open it.
Ishana dances painfully to the song. Her friends wonder why she’s listening to Neel. Mangal uses a screwdriver to unlock the door. Neel and his friends start misbehaving with Ishana. Mangal finally opens the door and tells Akshat to stay inside before rushing out. She sees Neel misbehaving with Ishana and throwing tissue paper at her. Mangal slaps Neel and angrily asks what’s going on and why he did such a cheap act. She asks Ishana if she’s fine. Ishana collapses. Ishana’s friends say something always happens at Ishana’s place and leave. Neel asks Mangal why she slapped him. Mangal scolds him and sends his friends away.
Adit and the family return and ask what happened. Mangal tells Neel that his behavior is unacceptable and says if he doesn’t want to change, he can leave the house — she won’t tolerate his misbehavior anymore. Neel gets angry and says, “You always lecture me for every small thing and want to throw me out. Fine, I’ll leave.” Sowmya tells Kusum that Neel is upset and worries that he might really leave. Adit asks Mangal what happened. Mangal explains Neel’s misbehavior.
Neel comes out with his bag and tells Kusum, “I’m leaving because my mom can’t stand me. She’s not ready to accept me, so I’m going.” Kusum asks Adit to stop Neel, saying Neel is the elder son of this house. Neel thinks Kusum will stop him.
