The episode starts with Karan’s friend Bobby asking him to come to Chandini’s party with his wife, as they have never seen her. Bobby says Barkha is also coming with her fiancé Karthik to the party. Hearing this, Karan agrees to attend the event.
Karan asks Lakshmi to get ready, saying they have to go to a party. Lakshmi refuses and reminds Karan that she doesn’t want to go around with him as his wife, adding that they should keep this drama limited to the house. Karan mocks her and forcefully applies lipstick on her. He then says he has helped her get half ready and that she can do the rest. Karan leaves.
Dadi comes to Lakshmi and explains that after marriage, a few habits need to change. She says she understands that Lakshmi is a simple woman who doesn’t like parties, but Karan’s father was also like him—a party lover—and even though she disliked parties, she used to attend them as part of his work. Dadi asks Lakshmi to go to the party with Karan, and Lakshmi agrees.
Dadi asks Karthik if he is going somewhere. Karthik says yes, explaining that he is going to Chandini’s party with Barkha. Bhavani overhears their conversation. Later, she sees a servant taking a smoothie to Vyom. Bhavani takes the smoothie from him and mixes peanut butter into it, knowing that Karthik is allergic to peanuts. She plans to make Karthik fall sick so that he won’t attend the party.
Bhavani then offers the smoothie to Karthik, who drinks it.
Bobby video calls Karan and says they’re coming to pick him and Lakshmi up. Karan replies that they’ll come directly to the party, but Bobby jokes that he doesn’t trust him.
Lakshmi gets ready to leave for the party. Karthik and Barkha also get ready, but suddenly Karthik falls ill. Lakshmi worries for him and asks Barkha if he ate anything. Barkha says she doesn’t know. Lakshmi notices the empty smoothie glass with traces of peanut butter and questions who gave it to Karthik. No one answers. Lakshmi quickly brings medicine and gives it to him.
Just then, Karan and his friends arrive and see Lakshmi giving medicine to Karthik. Karan’s friends ask him what’s going on, saying it looks like Lakshmi is Karthik’s fiancée and Barkha is no one. Karan gets upset hearing that. After taking the medicine, Karthik’s condition improves, and Karan sends his friends away.
When Karthik regains consciousness, Lakshmi asks if he’s fine. Karthik says yes. Barkha says they got scared and hugs him. Dadi tells Karan that his wife saved Karthik in time with her smartness. She asks Lakshmi why she had those allergy tablets. Lakshmi says she also has allergies, so she keeps them with her. Dadi praises her foresight and blesses her.
Karan then complains that Lakshmi cares for everyone except him. He says his friends came and left, and they didn’t even go to the party. He tells Karthik to rest. Barkha takes Karthik inside, but while leaving, Karthik looks back at Lakshmi. Lakshmi turns her face away, and Karan gets angry seeing them.
Meanwhile, Bhavani questions the servant about who added peanuts to Karthik’s smoothie. Barkha says she has been asking him for a while, but he hasn’t answered. When threatened, the cook says it was Lakshmi madam who prepared the smoothie. Bhavani sends him away and tells Barkha that Lakshmi caused Karthik’s allergic reaction and then pretended to save him. She says Lakshmi trapped Karan with her plans and will soon make him her servant. Bhavani adds that she doesn’t understand Lakshmi’s behavior toward Karthik and calls her characterless. She warns Barkha to stay cautious and leaves.
Barkha thinks Lakshmi separated her brother Karan from her, but she won’t let Lakshmi’s shadow fall on her Karthik.
Karan confronts Lakshmi, asking why she always thinks about Karthik. He says his friends had come, and she should have been with him to receive them, but she was busy with Karthik instead. Lakshmi replies that she doesn’t care about him and only helped Karthik because he was in danger. Karan says there were others to help Karthik, but she needed to be with him. Lakshmi retorts that since he doesn’t like her, she doesn’t need to be with him.
Karan angrily tries to tie her with his belt, but Lakshmi cleverly makes him fall onto the bed and warns him not to misbehave with her before walking away. Karan fumes in anger.
